Billy Castell Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Went on that site from the Wigan thread, and tried to be reasonable and friendly, and one guy are saying I'm patronising and doing it for my ego or something. Check the Pompey thread.

Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Wouldn't it be funny if they started singing 'You don't know what you're doing' to Shearer Doubt it. Like Keegan he's incapable of doing anything wrong in their eyes. They will believe any excuses he uses and blame the players for everything. They still believe he chose them over Man United when in reality Jack Walker refused to sell him to his first choice. Shearer's more than happy to go along with their false belief. SIGNATURE (MANUALLY ADDED DUE TO PROFILE TAG FAULT)

Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 His desire to leave was possibly due to the mentality of some supporters in my view. He still got his wish just not to his first choice.

Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 The fans didn't share the same level of disappointment as he did over the champions league campaign. He couldn't understand why the criticism wasn't a lot harsher. Remember Shearer wanted to win the competition. He wasn't just happy to be there like many of the fans were. Shearer said after he left that he felt Jack would take the club back to the top. So if he wasn't upset with Jack whose fault was it then? I assume it must have been the fans he had a problem with.

yoda Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Is it drugs that keeps you repeating this Lancashire Utd idea then? Lancashire Utd already exists
Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I assume they have legal ownership of the name too. So if you insist on repeating the ludicrous idea Thenodrog it should really be L.Athletic or L.Rangers. Something like that or preferably no mention of it at all. How can anyone have a problem with my opinions when he repeats this garbage over and over again.
ABBEY Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Is it drugs that keeps you repeating this Lancashire Utd idea then? :!: haha coming from the original attention seeking takeover man u junkie NOTE TO CALDERSTONES OR WHOEVER LOOKS AFTER VEGAY ......TAKE HIS FLAMIN PUTER OFF HIM AGAIN HES DOING ARE BLEEDIN HEADS IN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Guest Vinjay606 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Why shouldn't I mention Man United on here sometimes? You talk about a club in the division below constantly.

RovertheHill Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 BBC website says there are 47481 inside St James Park. Don't they normally get 52000? What's happened to the so-called best fans in the world in their biggest match of the season?
brfcshabba Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 On this performance we should take all 3 points off Pompey Newcastle not good enough at all.
Bobby G Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Newcastle were dire. No confidence in the camp as well. A big defeat at Anfield will put alot of pressure on them in the derby against Boro. I believe the loser in that match is down. If its a draw, both will go down Id think.
Backroom DE. Posted April 27, 2009 Backroom Posted April 27, 2009 Can't see newcastle staying up now. They're relying on Hull and Sunderland to lose ALL of their remaining matches. They started off brightly, but after the first 15 minutes really didn't threaten. Portsmouth should have won that one, Crouch missed an easy chance, they hit the post, and Johnson hit wide two shots he should have done far better with. Also, we should smash Pompey at home, they look crap.
Stonesrick Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Where was that famous Geordie ATMOSPHERE? I could only hear pompey fans singing. Big Al appealing for every single decision. In the calm of the TV studio he would be saying, "never a penalty, no intent" Either the barcodes OR boro are going down along with the baggies and Hull. What a fantastic weekend this has been for us!
Iceman Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Well if they lose at Anfield, and Boro lose their game then it becomes interesting. If we draw our game against City, we will be 7 clear with 3 to go. I cant see either Newcastle or Boro getting 7 points from their remaining 3 games. Stranger things have happened, but based on the barcodes performance tonight, i just cant see it happening.

Did your throat get any better?
sambo Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Vinjay you wind me up so much. You can't ignore history, tradition, just to hate Man United.... they may take support off us but 'hating them' would be so small time. They have City, Liverpool, Leeds. And how are you going to get the norm being to hate United? The club aren't going to publically support the dislike of Man United. I hate Burnley, not because they're a threat to support or because I feel I should, because I was brought up not liking them and feel local pride. Go to a Man United forum and spout your rubbish, they will just laugh. I saw your forum, which changed the lyrics of our anti Burnley songs eg No Nay Never to Man United. Why put that in terrace chants when its never been chanted?
philipl Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Pretty well perfect run of results for Rovers. All pace has gone out of Newcastle; Pompey are hardly the quickest at the back but were never beaten for pace. Duff never went past anybody with the ball anywhere on the pitch all evening. Newcastle will struggle to catch either Hull or Sunderland now let alone find the 6 points to trouble us. I see vinjay is talking about the Mancs in the delegation thread. Picking up on his thing about spell checker, it changed relegation back there for me!
