LeChuck Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Come on Hull! I can't believe anyone wouldn't want them to win. We can still catch Bolton FFS, that's completely relevant to Rovers unlike this imagined relegation threat which doesn't even exist.

Backroom DE. Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Posted May 16, 2009 Bolton will score, got a horrible feeling... Hull just spurn chance after chance
Manc Rover Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Jaskalinen performing miracles by all accounts. Come on Hull, you can do it!!
tony gale's mic Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Wish Boro got a goal vs Villa. That said, their display at St James' was so pathetic they probably deserve to go down for that alone. If Hull stay up then they'll be dead certs for the drop next season, along with Pompey probably, which leaves one relegation spot for our six fingered friends...
AussieinUk Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Well done Schawzer! FT - Fulham 1 Barcodes 0 I really hope its bye bye Newcastle
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Newcastle 0 - 1 Fulham... WERE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
philipl Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Nice to be safe with the first result of the afternoon.
Backroom DE. Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Posted May 16, 2009 As if there was any doubt after we beat Portsmouth Newcastle going down? I sincerely hope so !
tony gale's mic Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 As if there was any doubt after we beat Portsmouth Next season I'm going to harp on about our title challenge until its mathematically impossible...
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Who else will officially be supporting Aston Villa on Sunday next week...
RovertheHill Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Next season I'm going to harp on about our title challenge until its mathematically impossible... So until November then
LeChuck Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 We were safe last week! Who have Wigan got on the last day? We can still catch them if they lose.
tony gale's mic Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 What price West Brom beat a dispirited Liverpool tomorrow? I think that's going to be a very open game...
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 SkySports haven't mentioned Rovers yet. Amazing considering it's a massive day for all concerned...
Iceman Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 So if Newcastle lose to Villa, and Hull dont beat United are Hull down with Boro and West Brom?
tony gale's mic Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 So if Newcastle lose to Villa, and Hull dont beat United are Hull down with Boro and West Brom? No, if Newcastle lose to Villa Newcastle are down. Newcastle need to better Hull's result next weekend basically.
Manc Rover Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 SkySports haven't mentioned Rovers yet. Amazing considering it's a massive day for all concerned... because we we were 99.999% safe and not worth the air time!
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 So if Newcastle lose to Villa, and Hull dont beat United are Hull down with Boro and West Brom? It's as simple as this. If Newcastle lose to Villa. They are relegated...
philipl Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 So if Newcastle lose to Villa, and Hull dont beat United are Hull down with Boro and West Brom? 1700: That point for Hull is enough for them to climb out of the bottom three with one game remaining. They host Manchester United next Sunday, while Newcastle travel to Aston Villa. Middlesbrough are clinging on by their fingernails. They need to beat West Ham, hope Hull lose and also make up a goal difference deficit of four. In other words: Gareth Southgate's side are all but relegated. Thanks to BBC
Plastic Head Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Come on Villa get them barcodes stuffed. Villa are not in good order though, I can see a draw.
tony gale's mic Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 SkySports haven't mentioned Rovers yet. Amazing considering it's a massive day for all concerned... Christ. It's ten minutes after the final whistle on a round of games which has seen the champions crowned and a potentially decisive day in the relegation tussle...why on earth would they mention a team who haven't even played today?!
LeChuck Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 SkySports haven't mentioned Rovers yet. Amazing considering it's a massive day for all concerned... For goodness sake, this is getting silly. They mentioned us being safe last week because that was the result that kept us up. I know it wasn't quite mathematically, but we were safe. The only massive thing about today (from a Rovers point of view) is that Bolton didn't win, which keeps them within striking distance, and that Wigan are still within reach.
Backroom DE. Posted May 16, 2009 Backroom Posted May 16, 2009 because we we were 99.999% safe and not worth the air time! Exactly, results down the bottom no longer concern us. They, and most normal people, considered us safe last week.

It's ten minutes after the final whistle on a round of games which has seen the champions crowned and a potentially decisive day in the relegation tussle...why on earth would they mention a team who haven't even played today?! They have mentioned Pompey about 3 or 4 times?
