Siriwan Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 According to Spanish media, the club is interested in signing Serbian forward Nikola Zigic. He's a Valencia footballer, currently on loan at Racing Santander. 2'02 mts tall and 28 years old, he made himself famous in Spain in 2006/07, forming a deadly attacking pair with diminutive forward Pedro Munitis, 35 cms shorter. His performances in Santander allowed him to make a move to Valencia, but he has had few opportunities to show his talent there and returned on loan to Racing Santander. He's skillful for his height, able not only to score goals but to give assists and create scring opportunities out of nothing. A good footballer indeed. Munitis-Zigic combo: And again: For Valencia:

Amo Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Sorry, I am not convinced. That we're after him, or that he's good enough?

rover6 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Of course Sam's interested in him. He has also been keeping an eye on a few Giant Redwoods in the States'.
