tony gale's mic Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 1747: Every time Blackburn get the ball, they just pump it forward aimlessly and give it straight back to Manchester United. That is a very dangerous game to play. Exactly.

RibbleValleyRover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 1-0 United Wasn't great defending...
1864roverite Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 floodgates about to open. mistakes v manure and goals is the answer.
imy9 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Forget this game, we just need to keep the score down. Is it me or are the set pieces from MGP pants, does he bother to practice?
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Why do we keep playing Pedersen? getting sick and tired of his inability to pass a ball or put in a decent cross. No chance of coming back into this, Roque is getting no support whatsoever from the centre or from out wide.
oozy Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 What a mismatch......Scholes v Andrews That thought came to me when I saw a shot of Andrews for the first time after 24mins
iamarover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Forget this game, we just need to keep the score down. Is it me or are the set pieces from MGP pants, does he bother to practice? Class act from Pedersen who finds the exact middle of Rooneys forehead 10 yards away with 14 acres and the entire Rovers team to aim at.
BRFC1995 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Anyone else finding it difficult to look at the PC because of fingers involuntarily springing up before their eyes. No rusty spoon will be required if this carries on no, the script is already written...........not a thing we can do, formation wise or tactically this is never anything but a united win every day of the week and as long as the score is kept down should have no bearing on the rest of the season as ypu'd be off your head to expect more than a defeat........season starts again properly after poxy fa cup game on tuesday.
DeadlyDirk Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Nani had far too much time to pick a pass, we were cut apart. Whenever we get the ball we just hammer it away inviting more pressure on us which is never a good idea, we at least have to try and hang on to the ball. Yeh Pedersen, the commentator on Setanta said he has great delivery from set pieces, I think used to have would have been more appropriate. It frustrates me so much when a player doesn't even beat the first man from a set piece! Hopefully we can scrape till half time only 1-0 down and then regroup. While the score stays 1-0 there is always a half chance of salvaging a point.
1864roverite Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 when your best midfielder cannot pass the ball 1-1
Grabbi Graeme Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Santa Cruz yes get in 1-1 Craig Burley on Setanta blaming sloppy defending from Utd for our goal, give us a little credit please.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Class by Roque, thats how a £15 million plus player plays.
1864roverite Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 What I was going to say before RSC rudley interrupted me was this ! Its a sad thing when Dunnt cant pass the ball over the wall. Alan Green is disparaging about the Rovers fans, the reason is you irsish muppet is because people wont be held to ransom by having to pay 40 quid to these robbing mank u scumbag owners. Anyhow, it was nice to hear him shut up for a a moment when RSC scored
Iceman Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Yesss! Roque you beauty. C'mon guys keep it tight.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Well at least we have ended their clean sheet record... Listening to 5live, sounds like Givet's knee has taken a knock
DeadlyDirk Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Okay well scrap waiting till the second half to try and nick a goal, I'll just shut up! Great goal from Santa Cruz and top work from Ooijer to win the ball and play a nice ball to him. They've forgotten what it's like to concede now they'll be in panic stations, let's go for the jugular before half time!!!!
Grabbi Graeme Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Givet's knee in collision with Berbatov's studs, hope he can run it off he has looked good at the back so far.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Pedersen has been shocking as usual
DeadlyDirk Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Lovely ball forward from Warnock there!! Get it to Kuszczak as quickly as possible!!
