beerwins Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Thank god for that , we dont half make it hard work, picked a bad week to pack up smoking
Balwer Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 YES! BROWN YOU GOT US 3 POINTS WITH THAT SAVE OH GOD YES!
Rover4ever Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Closest win of the season, not to mention the most valuable so far.
broadsword Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Making it look easy, then ending up doing it the hard way. Unusual for us.
chocky Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Jesus why do they never make anything easy...3 points that may help save the season...
des Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 well that was close on the end, but three points, well done the rovers
Balwer Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I never want to go through that again, my nerves are shot. Brown had a super half, could do nothing about the goal but made 2 great saves and looked very confident.
brfcshabba Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Well we have now doubled Ince's point amount and now we become Villa fans for the afternoon
Backroom Tom Posted March 1, 2009 Backroom Posted March 1, 2009 Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees group hug at my house, I don't give a hoot we nearly threw it away it doesn't matter we didn't, get in.
Exiled in Toronto Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 3 points but I am no more confident of staying up than I was 95 mins ago. 2 gross acts of unprofessionalism took us from an unassailable position to desperately hanging on: Pedersen's stupid challenge and then us being undone AGAIN by an unopposed short corner. Oh, and our well-rested athletes were out on their feet for the last 10 mins. How invaluable was the much-malaigned Andrews' goal
modes98 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Get In. 3 hard earned points. Shame Ped didn't keep his head as it would have been alot easier.
oozy Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I never want to go through that again, my nerves are shot. Brown had a super half, could do nothing about the goal but made 2 great saves and looked very confident. Particularly in the air
John Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 3 points feels so good - could not bear to watch the last 10 mins...
Grabbi Graeme Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Always the hard way eh,Villa beating Stoke would make the day complete.
Paul Mellelieu Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I never want to go through that again, my nerves are shot. Get ready for the rest for the season then.
1864roverite Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 That my friends, is a massive 3 points for Rovers. Not only does it bring Hull firmly back into the beat the drop battle, it nullifies Boro's surprise win over Liverpoo and also ensures now that if results go our way, then a win against Everton put us in a really good position. I think Pedersons yellow card will see the team weakened when he misses the game becasue in the likes of Treacy we may as well just put out 10 players. Anyhow, we take what we got and start plans for Wednesday.
yellowsubmarine Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I nearly had a heart attack watching this game. Once again, we made it hard for ourselves again. MGP stupidly gets himself sent off, Diouf almost joined him. Brown made an all important save in the final moments. 3 hard-earned points.
