tony gale's mic Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Not a big fan of 4-5-1 when we're playing away at Hull, we should be looking to take the game to them.
grizfoot Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I am guessing we're lining up like this ----------Robbo Ooijer Samba Nelsen Givet ----------Grella ----Andrews Warnock ------Diouf Pedersen ------- Santa Cruz If we go behind or are level with 20-30 to play they'll bring on McCarthy for Andrews or Warnock and revert to 4-4-2 you'd imagine. Perhaps even 4-3-3 with Roberts on and the other one off too. Would prefer Dunn to Andrews but looks decent on paper. Warnock in the midfield always scares me though. The formation worked well enough against United. Although I'd agree I would much rather have Dunny playing, seemingly must be injured again. Warnock in midfield is always a lit bit of a worry but I still think we've got enough to see off Hull if we play anything like we did at Old Trafford. Come On Rovers!!!
Plastic Head Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 4-5-1 Roque up front Warnock, Grella, Pedersen, Diouf & Andrews in midfield Givet at full back Hull have Duke in goal - whos he?? In the words of Francis Rossi..... Down, down.....deeper and down. 2-0 Hull.
rovers1993 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 i don' think it's a 4-5-1, more like a 4-3-3. ----robbo------ ooijer samba nelsen givet Grella Andrews Warnock Diouf Peds RSC
Al Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Why in the name of God does Andrews keep being selected. He is worse than useless, he is a liability.
BRFC1995 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 first effort on target a diouff header, forced a save
tony gale's mic Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Hull are looking much better, we're offering absolutely zero going forward.
