Hughesy Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I think this should be ok in here so I thought id add it here. If not Mods - then just let me know. I want to know if there is something you can do to windows media player to improve programmes you may be watching over the net? Is there any tool out there that improves the quality of streams?? Thanks

LeChuck Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Not as far as I know, it's all controlled at the source, and streaming is generally done at relatively low kbps. There might be some plugins out there that will let you full-screen it with slightly less distortion (anti-aliasing maybe) but you'll it will probably make little difference.
BuckyRover Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 If you have tv-out and a HDTV then run it through the TV if possible. My Viera (uhohoh) upscales I-player very well (unless I imagined it, which is also possible)
