FSF Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 http://www.fsf.org.uk/news/Get-involved-wi...North-Wales.php The next meeting of the North West and North Wales Division of the FSF takes place at Hyde United FC (in the Pete O' Brien Lounge in the Main Stand) at 1pm on Sunday, 29th March, 2009. Those of you who are after a bit of free food are advised to get there for 12.30pm to catch the opening of the buffet! The FSF holds divisional meetings across England and Wales where football supporters come together and discuss the issues that matter to them. Crucially, we always try to hold them somewhere with beer so you can get a few pints in as well. It’s all about priorities! Think there’s something the FSF has neglected in your region? Well get along and tell us. Campaign funds are available to all divisions so if something’s went wrong in your area, and you need some cash to get materials printed and campaign on it, get along to your local branch and tell them about it. We’re a voluntary organisation and only as strong as our members – join the FSF today. January’s meeting focused on the use of Section 27 by Greater Manchester Police and FSF chair Malcolm Clarke updated those present on the current situation. Members also discussed Fans’ Parliament 2009 and the No Team GB campaign along with other issues. The meeting is open to members and non-members alike, those wishing to attend should email divisional secretary Phill Gatenby.
