robbo_rovers Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Just wondering, does anyone know what the prices are for the Wigan game? Because this is the only game that I can make it to, but on the website all the information that is given is about the £20 tickets and nothing bout buying tickets for individual games.

Ben-2000 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Just wondering, does anyone know what the prices are for the Wigan game? Because this is the only game that I can make it to, but on the website all the information that is given is about the £20 tickets and nothing bout buying tickets for individual games. It's £15.00 for the Wigan game.
gazsimm Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 great deal by Rovers, lets hope the so called fans of this club turn up to help the team stay up in the top flight. £20 to watch 3 premier league games is a bargain.
only2garners Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 It's £15.00 for the Wigan game. I would think it pretty unlikely that they will be discounting prices for individual games given the £20 offer.
AndyNeil Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Sorry to correct you John but for all other areas of the ground it is £15 for the Wigan ... nothing yet for the Portsmouth & West Brom games. It says so right at the bottom of the £20 for 3 games offer, good news that they are selling well and hopefully will be able to open up the other side of the Darwen End lower as well ... spread the word and lets get it filled!
Hughesy Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 If I could split my body in half and sit in 2 places, id buy an extra seat in the darwen end - just because I think the club deserve our support for this move. TAKING EWOOD BACK
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 This deal is worth 20 quid of anyones money Waggy.....even your's! Stop moaning and get behind the club
American Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 If I can ever get the darn online thing to work, I'm ordering mine!! Was going to the last match anyhow, now if I can get a ride, I'll go to the others!
only2garners Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 As reported at tonight's Fans Forum, the club have sold about 1,000 of these tickets in 3 days. Interestingly about one third of the tickets have gone to people who are not on Rovers' database. American - a significant portion of the sales have been online so it must be working - keep trying!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 As reported at tonight's Fans Forum, the club have sold about 1,000 of these tickets in 3 days. Interestingly about one third of the tickets have gone to people who are not on Rovers' database. Uhm, could they be away fans who just want to pay £20 for a ticket rather than the usual £25 or whatever it is? Or are the remaining three games priced under £20 for away fans?

Anything else worth mentioning that occured in tonight's fans forum. Key points would be great garner
Glenn Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Well, I'm sure O2SG is in a better position than me to give a full run down (he was taking notes, I was just doodling and reading twitter) but something you won't see in the minutes ('cos I was told after the meeting) is regarding season tickets. If you think this "Taking back Ewood" deal is good, just wait for the season ticket news. It's not likely to be announced until it's confirmed which division we're in. But I was genuinely delighted at what was being proposed. 3 excellent incentives, when given last years price freeze and the year before's price drops, I was expecting the worst. I can't give any more details (I'm possibly pushing the limits of trust with that much) but I'm genuinely excited about them. I think you'll all be dead happy (apart from Waggy ).
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 That sounds great, Glenn. Gutted I won't be getting a ticket though. =(. First time in 5 or so years.
Hughesy Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Why not anti dingle? Il be getting one no matter what. No more clues from the fans forum guys??
Glenn Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 No more clues from the fans forum guys?? Nope. As I said, it wasn't part of the meeting, so no point interrogating other people (and I aint telling).
Blue n White Rover Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Nope. As I said, it wasn't part of the meeting, so no point interrogating other people (and I aint telling). Are you Nicko in disguise?
Glenn Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Who ? Besides. We get grief for Nicko spreading rumors of doom and gloom, so I'm the anti-nicko, spreading rumors of joy !
Hughesy Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Student loan = Season ticket ha ha. Moving away for abit then?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Money isn't the issue really, it's just the distance. Even if it's only as far as Chester, can't be doing with travelling when I should be getting smashed studying.
Beta Ray Bill Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Well, I'm sure O2SG is in a better position than me to give a full run down (he was taking notes, I was just doodling and reading twitter) but something you won't see in the minutes ('cos I was told after the meeting) is regarding season tickets. We get a free DVD of the Life & Times of Big Sam?
MCMC1875 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 As far as I'm aware the tickets have to be reserved/purchased at the One Rovers website. So I would suggest not going down to the ticket office (therefore wasting your time) without making a phone call to confirm the ordering process beforehand. CLEAR OFF DINGLE
MCMC1875 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Uhm, could they be away fans who just want to pay £20 for a ticket rather than the usual £25 or whatever it is? Or are the remaining three games priced under £20 for away fans? It's £15 all games all areas.
Blue n White Rover Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 CLEAR OFF DINGLE Bit harsh or am I missing something?
American Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 You're missing that disagreeing with MCMC and wanting the club to be run in a different and possibly better way makes you not a 'true' supporter. Edit: and o2g, I actually got my tickets in the post today, which worries me, because I tried to buy them twice!! Kept getting an HTML error at the end. Maybe the Mac/Firefox combo?
