1864roverite Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Of the team on the pitch the only worthwhile contributors are Samba and Robbo. Andrews 0 Treacy 0 Tugay 5 ooijer 5 Warnock 4 Dunn 4 The Axe 1 Nelsen 4 Thats poor

Plastic Head Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 It's hard to beleive the Scouse would have had an easier game against any of the other 90 league clubs. How can it be any better next season? All we'll get is some free tranfers or kids in. The game is now being played in silence. We have quietened the crowd with our ineptitude.
ThatRabbitsDynamite Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I expected a heavy defeat when i saw the starting line-up and your right anything less would be wonderful, but again as i keep harping on about, we also expect effort from the team regardless of the scoreline. Agreed
jim mk2 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 This performance is as bad as the Spurs game last week. I'm still puzzled how we managed to win that one.
ihtd Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Lets hope we can stay the next 20+ mins with no injuries, ten men against Liverpool right now would be awful for our GD. Grella might put a bit of bite back into our midfield that it has clearly been missing today. EDIT-Keith Treacy is a joke, how on earth he is playing in the Premiership is a complete and utter joke. The Liverpool players are loving it when he gets the ball because they know they are going to get the ball straight back.
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 Treacey really is a poor footballer, think we have to get rid come summer World class tackle by Andrews there
RovertheHill Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Treacy just cannot cross a bloody ball He cannot trap a bag of cement and has just tried running with the ball and fell over. Crossing is the least of his worries...
cn_barlow Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 bit early yet, but if we can hold on at 2-0 it would be a good result for us!!
brfcshabba Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I have always given Treacy the benefit of th doubt, but I have to agree he isn't very good
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Best Rovers move of the game then, Carlos played a large part in that.
ABBEY Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 bit early yet, but if we can hold on at 2-0 it would be a good result for us!! HOW THE BOLLUX CAN ANY DEFEAT BE A GOOD RESULT?
mellison24 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 carlos is makin a helluva diffrence here. play him more sam!! MORE!!
cn_barlow Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 HOW THE BOLLUX CAN ANY DEFEAT BE A GOOD RESULT? damage limitation
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 Because we have nearly a reserve team out against one of the best teams in the world?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Because we have nearly a reserve team out against one of the best teams in the world? Took the words out of my mouth. Treacy, Mokoena, Doran? You honestly didn't expect anything but a defeat at Anfield? Just be glad that it's (so far) only a small one.
andyroversmad Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Dorran looks like he has a good bit of pace
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Doran hasn't been too bad on what must be a difficult game to make your debut. He's ran and beat some players, something that Treacy doesn't seem capable of.
cn_barlow Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 but its still damage 2-0 or 5/6-0. not really that difficult to understand is it?
cravenblue Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 a few decent touches by doran . I like the look of him
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 Carlos looks twice the player Treacey is and I still don't think we've seen the best of him but sadly never will
