HemelRover Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I said it in Jan but we shouldve sold Santa for 15mil in jan. Not messed about trying to squeeze the most out of Man City. Replaced him with 2 new strikers. Ones that dont have a awful injury record.

Lurid Coat Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Diouf's injury is truly horrible news. We're going to miss his impressive workrate and "never say die" attitude.
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 I don't think this is sams fault he has to work with what he has but anything less than 5 or 6 nil will be a bonus given the team
deloreanwfn Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Sam on sky sports 1 just said that Roque has picked up a slight calf injury so nothing to do with the knee. Also mentioned something about Diouf being taken ill. Oh! so Roque manages to injure himself without playing a single minute on the pitch
Amo Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Tell me when this is over. No Carlos in the 11 is also very disappointing, especially when Treacy gets the nod. They were saying on SS that set-pieces will be key for us, yet our best set-piece taker is stuck on the bench again. lol @ the official site: ROVERS: Robinson, Andrews, Ooijer, Nelsen ©, Givet, Dunn, Mokoena, Tugay, Warnock, Andrews, Samba. So good they named him twice?
Shabani Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 We'll last about 10 minutes before we concede. Then it'll be arsenal all over again
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Oh! so Roque manages to injure himself without playing a single minute on the pitch Probably passed the fitness test this morning on his knee but tweaked his calf in the process.
dopper69 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Good god - just seen the team on Sky Sports. I'm afraid, very afraid
ihtd Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 We are going to get hammered! Anything less than 4-0 will be a relief looking at that starting line-up. Samba upfront, he is not going to cause them a lot of problems, and any comparison between him and Jan Koller imo is pathetic. You don't stick your best CB upfront away from home against anyone nevermind a team with Torres.
ihtd Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Beautiful goal by Torres, what i'd give to have him in our line-up
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 I'm sorry but no matter what team you put out there is simply no stopping that goal, absolutely superb
ABBEY Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 ONLY 6 MORE TO GO LETS ATTACK NOW.....OOPS ALL OPTIONS ARE LOANED OUT!!!!!!!
1864roverite Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Undefendable goal from Torres. Here starteth the bad Saturday night syndrome again
chris Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Santa cruz = sick note = why he was so cheap = why we will never see 18 million again This will be hard to watch
Backroom Tom Posted April 11, 2009 Backroom Posted April 11, 2009 On the bright side if Stoke do us a favour then we're better off than this morning seeing we have go one of the tougher games done and toon still have to play them. It's a big if though I fancy toon to win today
