yep, but we can't do much about it. The only hope is somehow to survive this season and undergo a massive, massive overhaul of players in the summer, but since we have no money I don't see more than 2-3 changes either way.

The fact we're using Mokoena tells me all I need to know about the state of things at the moment - heart by the gallon, ability by the thimble. The same goes for Roberts - I'll not go through the rest other than to note we have allowed key areas of the squad to age/weaken at the same time and, frankly, don't have the money to get premiership quality players as replacement.

The only other point for me is that, whilst I accept the need to get points regardless of the finer points of the game, if what I have seen since January is what I can expect to see for the foreseeable then I have to say it's not for me, footballing snob that I am.

You're right Den, even McCarthy ran around. It's also hard to bully the likes of Faye, Cresswell and Beattie.
