Balwer Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 When was the last time you heard Ewood sound like that? Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck, it's f***ing beautiful. You can see the passion in the players.

Backroom DE. Posted April 26, 2009 Backroom Posted April 26, 2009 Come on boys, we can do this... a win here would be so, so important. Nervous as hell, my stomach's doing flips...
Balwer Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Grella just came off and shook all the boys hands before he went, you can see how up for this game everyone is. Robbo been incredible. Every few chants there's a "Robbo for England"
Backroom DE. Posted April 26, 2009 Backroom Posted April 26, 2009 Robbo has done a superb job today, I'm really pleased for him... he's come under some unfair criticism this season from certain fans and this game is proof that he is potentially a world class keeper.
T4E Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Carlos on for Benni. I can't get the City home game out of my head. Scary 10 mins in store.
Gus Gus Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 this will be the perfect result if Carlos can score (IMO)
Backroom DE. Posted April 26, 2009 Backroom Posted April 26, 2009 It'll be a perfect results IF WE WIN, I don't care who scores.
Gus Gus Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 It'll be a perfect results IF WE WIN, I don't care who scores. you forgot to put IMO in this post
Iceman Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Well done boys, and well done to the fans at Ewood. What an atmosphere and the players responded in a magnificant way. Robbo man of the match.
Shevchenko Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Six point gap to Middlesbrough will do nicely. Some breathing space for us now, one more win and should be OK. Also, what a time to score your first goal for the club. Nelsen knows a thing or two about dramatic timing.
Balwer Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 By far the most committed effort I have seen from the Rovers all year. Great job lads, very proud. Crowd looked on the TV to be amazing too, wish I was up there. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!! p.s Robbo MOM
Gus Gus Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I thought Nelsen scored for us against Larissa a few years back
imy9 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Fantastic result for us! Robinson and Grella were the key for me, that and playing 4-4-2, Bleedin' genius that Big Sam for taking his boys out for a break before our biggest game in years
Backroom DE. Posted April 26, 2009 Backroom Posted April 26, 2009 Brilliant, absolutely chuffed to bits! You could see how together the lads were, and they were totally committed to the cause. Ewood was rocking as well, what a beautiful day This is a huge bodyblow to the teams below us... they would have been desperate for us to lose, and 3 points has pulled us almost to the finish line. If we play with that togetherness, passion and commitment for the last few games we will be fine. Also, THANK YOU ROBBO, legend!
bigbrandjohn Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Beginning to feel a lot like the good old days like last season. Awesome saves and a workmanlike performance. Samba worked his arse off.
martmitch Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 delighted, absolutely delighted, first half best ive seen us play for a while, robinson easily mom at least 2 world class saves plus some superb defending, on another day it could have been a right drubbing... not today, kudos to grella and tugs showed we can actually pass and not just hoof it, samba for causing trouble & making the first goal and peds did well also i thought
BRFC1995 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 perfect day for nelsen.......tells the media ince was garbage and would have sent us down, and follows it up by pretty much making us safe....what a great weekend, pompey win tomorrow would be perfection
sussexrover Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Wish I'd been there - the atmosphere sounded awesome. But Robbo - wow!!!
BRFC1995 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Fantastic result for us! Robinson and Grella were the key for me, that and playing 4-4-2, Bleedin' genius that Big Sam for taking his boys out for a break before our biggest game in years st.andrews or turnbury this week then i guess
Billy Castell Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Are watching Waggy? Have you seen the result Mr. Holt? Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. E Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 wow I can't believe we won. Benni was responsible for both goals, he was the difference-maker today. Legend. A cold wave went through me when we brought Andrews and then Carlos on, these two are definitely not changes one makes with the aim of preserving the score. Luckily we survived, albeit having to cleat it 5 times off the line. Very scrappy, but we did the job today...not far to go now.
