The1mattjansen Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Blatantly a 4-5-1. I don´t know how they´ve managed to make 4-4-2 out of that. Much more positive team than we´ve seen in recent weeks. I think its probably the team that we´ve all been calling for, with the possible exception of Tugay for Dunn, however the old man might just pull something out of the bag for us again. Off to the English bar with the Blue and White halves on. La Paz, Bolivia. Come on you blues.

dopper69 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Quite suprised at how articulate Roberts comes across on Sky Sports
Eddie Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 My word he's playing 4-4-2...I guess it is possible without current bunch. SHOCKING.
jny Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Is Roberts still injured or something because he could be an asset to the team - he unsettles defences.
rovers1993 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 i still think 4-4-2 with samba and benni up front. no way will it be 4-5-1 with benni up top... same has learnt from last week that lumpin the ball up to benni all alone will NOT work so that is why samba is there. good solid line up except that our center midfield is lacking in space... well when is it not? maybe should have put dunny in for tugay instead as he provides abit more drive into the area. but tugay can probably pick out samba from 70 yards away which is why he is in there. come on rovers! 3-0 to us!
jim mk2 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Quite suprised at how articulate Roberts comes across on Sky Sports Why ..... because he's a footballer or because he's black ?
dopper69 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Why ..... because he's a footballer or because he's black ? Don't be soft
bigbrandjohn Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Good team, nice to be back in Blighty for the weekend. Skysports doesn't change. Nice cuppa tea and a bicky and off we go. I feel good about this. They all know with the results this weekend that they can make a big stride towards safety this afternoon.
Presty On Tour Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Fortress Ewood is back! Rovers in all 4 stands, looks awesome! Come on Rovers!
Rovers in America Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Fox Soccer just said Samba and Benni up front.
sweet Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Pedersen looking like he enjoys playing football for once.
imy9 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Pedersen looking like he enjoys playing football for once. And as soon as he delivers a quality set piece, we score! Great cross MGP, more of the same please!!
martmitch Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 thank god we got one, weve had so many chances first half, keep it up lads more of the same second half!!!
jonv Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I've had to turn my TV down. For the first time this season, Ewood Park has forced me to turn down the TV. Keep it up!!!
Rovermatt Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 We've been very aggressive in trying to get Samba involved but the ball is failing to break for us (aside from McCarthy's rather simple goal) and we're not getting in and around him to pick up the crumbs. Delighted to be in the lead but even Wigan are looking like a better footballing side at the moment.
martmitch Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 not quite sure why but weve started playing the dreaded hoof balls in this second half, we have a midfield who can pass ffs
Billy Castell Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 2-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nelsen got it according to BBC
Presty On Tour Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Get in there Nelsen!!! Like the Kuqi pile on celebrations!!! Dunn now on for Tugay.
