Stuart Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Tried to mock it up using the clues we already have. Only a quick attempt. Aargh! It's a Bolton kit in all but the badge!!

jonv Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 this is my take on it... the shirt clearly has a red collar though
mellison24 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 this is my take on it... I think that too, and i LOVE it!! (altho the colla shud be red too)
novella Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Aargh! It's a Bolton kit in all but the badge!! i thought the same thing when i was making it. I quite like the red one. I cant see it being a dark body because they have used a black background to display it.
Mc Love Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Could still be yellow!? Its probably not going to be though
alexanders Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Yuk. Chelsea home kit is awful! Looks like they are wearing american football pads or a bra or something.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 this is my take on it... This. However, the collar could look iffy if it's all red. We'll pretty much be able to guess by tomorrow, unless they reveal the socks first. Could be white socks with red trim I suppose.
Mc Love Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 It could be navy like that diagonal strip we had around 1999/00 seasons
Hughesy Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Alternative halved kit? White front half, Red back half.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Did the tv screen not show the new 2nd strip as a white top with navy flashes at yesterdays game or did I imagine it? If I did it'll mean we'll be having a third kit again.
roversmum Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 It's a little game Rovers are playing intended to stir up interest and passion for the unveiling of the new shirt* - they are showing these pictures day by day on the Official Site with a bit more revealed each day, and as yet, apart from a tiny flash of red around the collar area (probably unintended) we have not been made aware of the colour. *which I feel could be having the opposite effect on some including me...
Tim Southampton Rover Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 It would have been better to have had 2 countdowns. 1 for the design of the kit and then another for the colour of the kit. That way people wouldn't be so fed up of the constant unveiling which is now just frustrating having to wait each day for a new bit. Soon I won't even care.

And they unveilers don't even work weekends!
laughatthedingles Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Based on this, it could well be black, with a red collar and red stripes across: feel free to mock it up. One other thing to note, at the fans forum it was confirmed that this seasons away shirt (the navy blue) will be the third shirt next season, surely this means they wont have a mainly black or dark blue as suggested.
Hughesy Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The design doesnt show lines so I doubt that. If we need a 3rd kit then id suggest red & white being the colours Citys new home kit: Maybe a similar collar for us??
tony gale's mic Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 That City kit is smart, looks like a blue version of the new England one.
Eddie Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The home kit is nice given the colours they have to work with.
philo Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 The home kit is nice given the colours they have to work with. please say that was about the man city shirt not the burnley one
Backroom Tom Posted May 10, 2009 Backroom Posted May 10, 2009 For a Burnley kit the new one is decent I think, hope rovers go for a classic look.
