Well, if that's it it looks like a kids' tee shirt and whoever chose that as the design and colour wants shooting. Fortunately, since I'm a middle aged female and therefore avoid wearing a football shirt most of the time as I'd look ridiculous in it for casual wear and whenever I wear my shirt to a match we lose anyway, I won't feel obliged to buy or wear one.

I don't like it either. Wish they would listen to what the fans want.

I'm pleased to say the Fans Forum had no input whatsoever into either the current navy blue away strip or this white thing.

We used to view a selection of possible options and give our opinions. Umbro don't do this, they seemingly just seek comments/ideas for the next strip but one etc.

Edit: It strikes me that having hit the "jackpot" with the red and black halves two seasons ago, they've just tried to be as different as humanly possible with the two succeeding strips so that no-one can refuse to buy one on the basis it's too similar to the previous season's. I think this white strip looks incredibly cheap and tacky. Diadora League anyone? In fact it's not that good imo, it looks like a kit that might be provided by a local firm for a 5 a side comp at Witton Park with their name on.

Judging by boner's pics above, it looks like a kids pyjama's top :P

Personally I cant see the logic in the strip. You can have any color other than blue or white and what color do they pick.At least those who bought last years will get a bit more value out of it.

I don't see the problem. there are 2 games out of 19 that it will clash. So we wear our third choice kit.

Most teams now have three kits. Also, this kit will not be to everyones taste, therefore you have a choice between traditional blue and white halves, the new (pretty cool red and white) and the navy blue kit.

There are many combinations of kit, but Umbro will have given clubs the choice of a limited combination, hence most of the kits worn by Umbro sponsored clubs being of similar colour and design.

Well no-one forces a gun to your head to buy it Ryan

Not sure about your syntax, but whatever.........I am allowed to complain as vociferously as I wish, within the boundaries of good taste, about a shirt which I think is a piece of junk. You don't like that? Pound sand.

At least it isn't yellow. Another plus is what appears to be a "printed in" Crown Paints logo.

It's still an ugly shirt though.

I wonder if the colour was chosen based on potential clashes in the Championship? Cos I'm wondering what we'll wear against Big club and Wigan.

The club boobed by not selling last year's 3rd kit and boobed again this year. At least I won't have to choose between the home or away kit this year...

I quite like this one, as I did last seasons away top. I bought last seasons away long-sleeve shirt, and have always bought long-sleeved shirts. But at an extra £6 for long sleeves totalling £45.99, I find very expensive, so purely down to cost reasons i will not be purchasing this season.

My 11 year old daughter is nagging me for a shirt with her name on the back, but at £34.99 that is staying where it is as well.

Bring back Lonsdale at least the shirts where affordable.

I think you will find there are 3 possibly 5 games Fullham Noblot Spuds and possibly Brum and Wigan (depending) on there shirt designs. Like I said it is just a personal opinion and ripping fans off again. But you don't have to buy it if you don't want to.

looking at the final revealed pic:

I actually think its the blue part that worsens its look if it only had the red bits with the white shirt it would look very smart I feel, as lots have mentioned seeing it in the flesh will be vital I think, still undecided
