bennyboyt11 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Actually starting to like the new kit, although White kits just ask to have something stain them Someone stated that Bolton had to be the worst kit ever made. I had to do a google to find out if that was the case. I have to say that we shouldn't whine about this years kit. There have been some very ugly one's in the history! Ugly kits How have they not included this?

modes98 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 What will we wear at the JJB? I wouldn't of thought the away kit would be a problem. That kit is majorly blue and has blue shorts. Ours is very clearly different to that. and if need be there is this seasons away strip, so quit your worrying
JC4LAB Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Sorry ..dont like it..White shirt red shorts..A bowler hat and you look something out of Clockwork Orange..
LWX Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 looking at the final revealed pic: I actually think its the blue part that worsens its look if it only had the red bits with the white shirt it would look very smart I feel, as lots have mentioned seeing it in the flesh will be vital I think, still undecided I like red for rovers away colours
cn174 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 they get paid to design these shirts??? I'd feel much worse about it if Kevin Nolan was wearing our kit!
Eddie Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Let's hope we get the England style classy home kit. I'm not holding my breath though.
McClarky Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Don't like it at all, there is nothing Roversish about it. What's wrong with black and red halves, or any other 2 colours in a halved design come to that?
ChesterRover Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I can't get on the site - says the link is broken..... http://www.footballshirtculture.com/footba...overs-2431.html Just wish him/her was the chief designer at Umbro!
Doaksie Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Wearing the new away shirt as I type this - very pleased with it. I think some people may well be pleasantly surprised with it, when seen first hand.
Stuart Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 http://www.footballshirtculture.com/footba...overs-2431.html Just wish him/her was the chief designer at Umbro! Ah, what might have been. That home shirt looks ace, by the way.
Hughesy Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Those big Crown logo's on them designs are awful - thank god we didnt go with them either!
Doaksie Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Those big Crown logo's on them designs are awful - thank god we didnt go with them either! I concur
Stuart Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Those big Crown logo's on them designs are awful - thank god we didnt go with them either! I'll agree on the away one but on the home kit it's miles better than the current black box logo.
rovgers Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Wearing the new away shirt as I type this - very pleased with it. I think some people may well be pleasantly surprised with it, when seen first hand. Why? It will still be white!! Whats next seasons away top going to be - claret and blue!!
Doaksie Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Whats next seasons away top going to be - claret and blue!! ... Yes, and the world will implode when you put it on! Or maybe you're just over-reacting.
Baz Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 they get paid to design these shirts??? Is it my eyes or is there a bit of a drip from the crown logo woven into the shirt? Dont like the shirt, we should have stuck with halves just rotating the colours. Black & silver halves would look great.
Grabbi Graeme Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Still unsure about the shirt, would like to see it for real before I decide, although when I saw it I thought it looked like a Rangers away top.
sloth_frattelli Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Did anyone else who pre-ordered the kit get a call from the club regarding the missing socks? They told me the socks for this kit haven't been forwarded from Umbro yet and will be sent on to me as soon as they receive them.
Hughesy Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 What else do you want them to do? If its Umbro's fault there isnt alot they can do mate.....
sloth_frattelli Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Yeah I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else. Haven't seen it mentioned in the thread.
Montfort Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Just seen a picture of the new away shirt and I dont like it. I was really shocked and suprised when I saw it as we have nothing to do with all white shirts. I would feel like a Fulham or Bolton supporter wearing that.
