dopper69 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Looks like our only recognisable striker and leading goal scorer is on the bench again
Backroom Tom Posted May 17, 2009 Backroom Posted May 17, 2009 Nice to see Carlos start maybe sam is giving him a chance to earn a contract
Stuart Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Well Liverpool's win today renders our final game effectively meaningless and Chelsea now have to batter someone to have any chance of second place... * gulp *
Mr. E Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Not sure what's the point of this line-up, we've seen what all of these can and can't do. Gonna be a long one today.
philipl Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Absolutely full strength Chelsea- I think only Joe Cole is missing. Big Big Test. Here's hoping Sam doesn't have the excuse of the players not doing what was asked of them but we look awfully lightweight. Samba is hardly going to see the ball but will do a lot of running about!
jonv Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 todays team, MGP Tugay, Givet, Nelsen, Diouf Samba, Grella, Villanueva Warnock, Andrews, Robbo
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Why is everybody listing Carlos on the wing? The BBC have listed them as they will be playing. Robinson Andrews, Nelsen, Givet, Warnock Diouf, Kerimoglu, Grella, Pedersen Samba, Villanueva.

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Yeah because that's how they are playing. Not MGP up front with Carlos behind him. It's a simple 4-4-2 OR Carlos is playing behind Samba.
rovers1993 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 king carlos starting up front with samba and hopefully he'll make a point to big sam for a contract. come on rovers... lets go out and enjoy! (plz don't get trash! we're being televised )
ThatRabbitsDynamite Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 There's no pressure here or shouldn't be. With the news from modes98 that we can't be caught. Just relax and go out and have fun. Play smart, play hard, play like you can beat these also rans.
Backroom Tom Posted May 17, 2009 Backroom Posted May 17, 2009 I'm looking forward to this, no pressure game for the first time in a long long time. Still think 3-1 chelsea though
sambo Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Chelsea will win by 3 or 4. If Tugay gets injured I will not be happy. Come on Rovers.
Backroom Tom Posted May 17, 2009 Backroom Posted May 17, 2009 Woohoo at shot on target within a minute this is better than Anfield already
Backroom Tom Posted May 17, 2009 Backroom Posted May 17, 2009 I take it back Great header though to be fair
sambo Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 This is going to be an embarassment, worse than Anfield.
Eddie Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Very poor positioning from Givet there. No way that they should be able to put in crosses like that and be totally uncontested. Caught in total no-man's land.
Backroom Tom Posted May 17, 2009 Backroom Posted May 17, 2009 And you know what sambo I couldn't care less, not one bit
RoverRich Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Just simply gave them too much space. No pressure on the ball but fair play nice finish
modes98 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 MGP should be shot for losing that ball. Then Warnock doesn't bother to track back which throws the entire defence out and means Andrews should pick up Malouda but doesn't. I don't think this will be as bad as everyone says but they are lethal on the break.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I don't care. We're safe! :) We can lose 100-0 and I'll still not be bothered. It's been too long a season.
Exiled in Toronto Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Cut open due to Pedersen's complete inability to control a simple ball from Warnock, leaving the LHS exposed, Givet had to go out there, leaving the middle wide open. I am so sick of MGP's awful technique
