Blue n White Rover Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Last game of the season and the digital rights b****** screwing me up on the Club website for Radio Rovers. Does anyone else have problems with this. I'm stuck down South, and have no access to any Radio Links, I'm relying on BBC Live updates Anyone have an official Link for BBc Radio Lancashire?

mrsjansen Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Its just been to Ewood on SSN, which was surprising considering i only thought Newcastle were playing today, and it showed the players warming up wth Tugay masks on. Thanks for the memories Toogs. True Legend. Hope we get a win for him if nothing else.
BRFC1995 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 take it no one else can watch anywhere online.............30 minutes gone and no match updates here........frustrating
FourLaneBlue Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Samba apparently hit the outside of the post before but there does not seem to have been many chances other than that.
BRFC1995 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Samba apparently hit the outside of the post before but there does not seem to have been many chances other than that. least informed half of football i've ever known.............gonna put my 2 penneth in and sat APPARENTLY its all in the midfield?
KoNG Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Very quiet updates, Everyone is obviously at the game?! Which is good i guess.
FourLaneBlue Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 least informed half of football i've ever known.............gonna put my 2 penneth in and sat APPARENTLY its all in the midfield? What are you wittering on about? Apparently it has flown over my head...
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 What are you wittering on about? Apparently it has flown over my head... Basically, SkySports News has only gone to Ewood Park once in 45 mins to find out what is happening...
FourLaneBlue Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Oh ok..fair enough. I wondered what he was going on about. Try Radio Rovers then.
Rover Down Under Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Very quiet updates, Everyone is obviously at the game?! Which is good i guess. I think we're all quietly and happily reflecting on the last 8 years of seeing a true footballing legend play at Ewood...which is why we're so quiet. (Think I'm going to cry in about 45 mins)
KoNG Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Well i guess i'd normally be watching, but with no fox coverage this is all i have.
Rover Down Under Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Well i guess i'd normally be watching, but with no fox coverage this is all i have. That's why I have Rovers World
imy9 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 All we need is ONE goal and we will jump TWO places, come on Rovers!!
Rover Down Under Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Roberts sent off after 10 mins on pitch - straight red, very bizarre. Refs second red against Rovers this season.
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Jason Roberts ruins the party... Why on earth did Sam take off Samba. We have lost height on set pieces now and only have one striker...
roverseas Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 benmaxwell: If the live audio commentary is anything to go by, it was never a sending off... it wasn't anything at all? Not even the West Brom players knew why. How could Sam have predicted that Roberts got sent off? Do tell.
Rovers in America Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 BBC Live Text seems to think it was a harsh red as well: "SENDING OFF Jason Roberts (Blackburn) That looks a bit harsh on first replay, might need to see it again. The striker is sent off for an alleged elbow, but didn't look to be much in it."
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Just seen it... It is easily one of the sillyest decisions to go against us this season. He basically shrugged off the Brom player, so the ref immediately got out the yellow. Absolutely shocking decision considering the amount of times the ref declined to give West Brom players yellow cards for shirt tugs and obstruction during the first half when we were on the attack... This could cost us a awful lot of money and ruin the Tugay party... Not happy! Edit: So basically, the ref is giving red cards to us for no reason and failing to give yellow cards to the opposition for blatant obstruction. DISGUSTING! Edit again: How many fouls against us?! This is starting to feel like 'Escape to Victory'...
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Finally, the ref gives Brom a yellow! Tugay off... Goodbye Tugay... This summer, we really need to sign someone who can take a half decent freekick/corner...
OhmiBRFC Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Goodbye and thank you Tugay. I'm gutted that I'm not at Ewood. A true legend. I think I would be on the verge of tears if I was there.
Guest benmaxwell Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Full-time - 0-0 Goodbye Tugay. You are our Turkish delight!
