Early days yet but not the great rush as expected for seats in the Darwen end according to the official site seat booker!

Rovers need to get those season tickets packs out to most homes asap whilst interest and the feel good factor are still on a high.

I am sceptical as to whether we will see anywhere near the numbers of Rovers fans in the Darwen end next season like we did the last three home games.........I do hope I'm wrong come August though.

Apparently you can't tell from the seat booker how many have been sold, although the club were not expecting a great rush there anyway. Most renewals are currently going in the Blackburn End, which the club expect will sell out with season tickets. When that happens expect to see more Darwen End sales. Over half of season tickets sold so far are new rather than existing but you would expect that as there is no incentive for an existing ST holder to renew until 30th June.

Packs will be out Thursday / Friday this week.

Over half so far are new?? That pretty good start to things to be fair.

Dont forget alot of people will be on the database that also wont have season tickets and it may well alert some of them to the new prices.

Here's hoping anyway!! It will also be great to have a sold out blackburn end!!

At this stage the numbers sold are relatively small but I suspect they're a lot higher than at a comparable stage last year.

Personally I never renew much before the DD deadline, but it must be quite encouraging for the Club that half the ST's sold so far are new applications as opposed to renewals.

I got bored waiting for my pack and printed it off... As you can maybe guess, i'll be in the Darwen End next season!

Its my 1st season ticket, as i work saturdays its always put me off buying one, but at this price, its amazing!

There is a group on facebook 'Darwen End Singers' and we now have 20+ members... so i expect the numbers of tickets sold to rapidly increase!

Got mine and my wife has one now too :) Not sat together but that might change as the transfers kick in later. It is much better to speak to the ticket office than use the relatively useless onerovers which does not allow you to choose any seats UNTIL you have actually renewed your ticket.

As I didn't renew last season I went on line last week but my old seat appears to be taken at the moment so had to go for another, its only in the row in front though and a couple of seats furtehr along -(will be looking to move back to my old seat if possible after renewal deadline).

Anyway, rec'd my confirmation on Friday - so looks like things are happening efficiently.

Watch out Bobski I'm back - take it nobody has been sitting a couple of seats along from you as that is the seat I have at the moment :tu:

Was very adamant I would nt renew this year, as only been to 3 games and not seen a rovers goal

But the price and the fact the dingles will be in town has made me renew and get an extra ticket so that four of us, who all live a fair way from ewood can share 2 seats

Now we need Sam to get us 2 dynamic, box to box midfielders, plus a defender and striker and we've a chance of top 10 football again

Can't decide whether to stay in the BBE, the Darwen End could be a lure due to the fact you can stand at the back.

Who will be noisier next season, Blackburn or Darwen End?

i think a big motivator could well be who Sam signs. Most expect RSC to go so that won't affect S/T i don't think, if he can put a bit of feel good factor back into the eyes of the (don't know, not sure) fans with two or three quality signings that could add quite a few.

here's hoping Nicko's mystery man is one of those.

To put a feel good factor into fans from a signing point of view - it would have to be a well known name in england.

Yeah cause if we signed Messi nobody would care.

Why is he not well known in england or something??:wacko:

Official site:

145 votes so far-

32% will be new season ticket holders next season

0% will be renewing

Promising signs so far - lets hope we get an outcome of 32% new ST holders. That would hit target with almost 20k ST holders.

I'd assume that was a typo and 0% "Not renewing."

Renewing next week at some point hopefully when I come into come monies.

We're waiting to see the fixture list because daughter wants to get one again, but it will depend on whether she gets the job she's being interviewed for next week and then if the team are usually away when we are at home. If all their home matches coincide with ours then it won't be worth her getting a Rovers ticket as she won't be able to get to games.
