Has Paul received his pack yet?

No!

I have had an e-mail from Lynsey Talbot saying a particular person will call me to discuss this further. I suspect I may be banned for singing during the Wigan game.

Forget the family seats, that was just an afterthought. Bung them in the top tier out of the way and arrest them as soon as they break the law, including smoking on the concourse, threatening behaviour and D&D. Lock them in like they used to at all grounds with away fans and clear the area to ship them out.

Policed correctly, like the recent fixtures, the game will go ahead with no major incidents.

We will only get 3000 tickets maximum at dingle Dome, so they should get pretty much the same at our place.

Why 3,000?

I`m sure we took 4,000 last year

All the season ticket info is coming in dripsd

I can't see why the club can't give an indication of what the reduced pricing will be. I know of about 5 people who are considering season tickets for the first time, probably in the Darwen end but they are holding fire until they know the full picture.

All they need to know is pricing in JW outer, JW inner (as I presume that this is where all the spare seats will end up being, if all the Darwen end is given up to Away fans) and a price for the rest of the ground for Cat A and Cat B games.

If the club doesn't get it's finger out they might spend their money on something else.

I was told on Saturday that the tickets for the 4 games won't be at reduced rates by the lass in the ticket office. Not sure if she'd got her wires crossed though, she insisted Darwen end ST holders would get priority tickets, but at full price, and with them being cat A games would work out quite pricey.

I can confirm that is rubbish. They will be at reduced rates, at a priority. I will hopefully have better details for you later!

The only news I could manage to get is that there are likely to be reduced away fans for BOTH games versus the dingles.

Both clubs are aware the "proposed" dates for the games, as are the police and other authorities. Another round of planning is to be undertaken once SKY announce the first set of tv fixtures and dates by the end of next week.

Another factor is this, MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. Setanta have still not been "saved" and that particular package is the one that might be up for grabs. One of the supposed suggestions is that key derby games are played for the Monday night audience, one things for certain PLOD do NOT want a Rovers/Burnley game on an evening kick off and are looking at confirming early kicks offs.

Great idea that, give them no more than they gve us and lets fill the ground with Rovers fans.

Thats the way it should be without a shadow of doubt.Burnley are talking about letting home fans into a segregated Cricket field stand with the away fans....we may well get just the bare minimum allocation of 2,500(?)

If they can do it then so can our club with a bit of planning,I await the outcome to this with baited breath <_<

That's what I thought, but at 10am on a Saturday morning, and still feeling a bit boozy from the night before, I was unsure if I'd imagined the bit about reduced rates.

Not that I'm bothered anyway, got my ticket for the BBurn end, was advised it will be ok if we decide we want to transfer to the Darwen end on the day of the game though if we want.

The Times points out to all those fans of other clubs, who denegrate our support, that in fact, Rovers At the moment, Blackburn holds the Premier League enthusiasm record with 22.4 per cent. Rovers averaged about 23,500 last season and the town’s population is 105,000. Not far behind is Sunderland. Of a population of 178,000, more than 40,000 turn up. If Manchester were as keen on football as either of these places, United and City would need greatly enlarged stadiums.

As for London, the sums are simply not worth doing. Most people there prefer to see the sights (because they are tourists) or go to the opera.

Those who take up the £150 season tickets.

Abit of info here - its not been decided 100% yet however the 4 not included are likely to be (United, Liverpool, Burnley + 1 other).

You would have around 1 week prior to them going on general sale to get your seats booked where available - Sit where you like (Although obviously if you sit in more expensive areas, expect to pay more).

THIS IS THE PLAN - ALTHOUGH IT IS YET TO BE AUTHORISED BY THE BOARD.

More solid info expected soon....

No! Working on a Sunday 10-30am-5pm :P

Keep it as an early kick-off on a Saturday :D

It should be business as usual with regards to the pubs and ship them in to the ground early. The coaches can drop off right at the turn styles leaving us Rovers fans to go about our day as usual.

If it's 12.30 on the Sunday I know for a fact there'll be a lot of us going straight through from Saturday night. Might be a good idea to book the Monday off work me thinks.

i love it when a plan comes together

There were 2 blocks of BBE sold out, now it's back to one according onerovers... looks like someone has changed their mind :o

Still not decided where to sit then? After all your complaining about not being able to see the seating plan I'd have thought you'd have chosen a seat by now!

I wouldn't leave it too long if I were you Ben.
