once the claim your seat has passed we will/should get a rush for season tickets. iv managed to get a seat in no.2 row 6 at the moment (i go on my own so its easier) with a xfer request to move closer to the back if someone doesnt claim their seat (again more of a chance as im on my own)

i have a question, kinda daft. say i bring a mate to a game. can i change seat for said game if there isnt a spare seat near my seat? never tried before so i dont know

I agree, that really is going the extra mile for the fans.

Seriously they will let you go to your seat before you purchase it? Or is there a spot of sarcasm there?

Do you think they'll introduce me to the person who has bought the spare seat next to me on the BBE row 28 before the season starts just in case they are really annoying?

they took me to my seat so i could have a look. the very nice lady also said that if i get my xfer she can arrange for me to go and see my new seat before accepting. doubt they will let you meet the person sat next to you. just prey and hope they aint the guy from texas chainsaw masacre (SP?)

You'll get wet on row 6... We sit in N02, they are good seats.

You can transfer your seat to sit with a guest for a game. It'll just be a bit tougher this season with less seats available. All you need to do is explain the situation when purchasing your guest ticket and they will re-sell your seat. We did it last season to sit in the Legends Lounge, I also did it for 1 game to sit in the Jack Walker.

Possibly because some Season Ticket holders are still waiting for their packs

You as well roversmum? I'm still waiting for the promised phone call after two e-mails to the club.

Have the club not got back to you after emailing from the website?

I emailed them shortly after we discussed the issue the other week and they replied the following morning.

I have renewed by printing out the renewal forms off the website and posting the forms to the club before I received a pack through the post. As I have opted for Direct Debit I couldn't renew on line but I have already received the Direct Debit confirmation form and returned to Premium Credit.

I got an e-mail Monday promising a particular person, who I won't name, would ring me. Still waiting.

I think I have worked out what the problem is but for the moment I'm not going to jump to conclusions and will wait for the club to call me.

Good luck with that Paul. I really hope these issues don't scare off any fans....

No it wasn't though I'm pleased to say Lee has taken the trouble to contact me regarding this.

I'm wanting 2 STs in the Blackburn End lower but I'm deciding to wait until the renewal deadline has passed. In the (likely) event that every decent seat has been sold in the BBE, I'll probably get one in the Riverside. However last couple of times I've sat in the Riverside I've had a dodgy view due to the bloody pillars.

Anyway my question is this.......does anyone think if I go down to the ticket office they will let me have a 'viewing' of my seat? Last thing I want to do is commit to a ST and then find out I've got to watch all the games without seeing half of the penalty area?

They did just that for me. Let me sit in my new seat to see if I liked it. I was really impressed. Nothing was too much trouble.

after having a good think, and seeing the fixtures, I will be renewing tonight.

I've not yet worked out how I'll cope financially at uni, but I recon i can go without food the week before a game, thats half my train fare there.

I think it works out at about half a dozen less pot noodles a week covers the cost of the direct debit... Lol.

Looking at the online planner.

Blackburn End Lower - SOLD OUT

Riverside Centre Blocks - Almost Sold Out (Except for odd seats)

Riverside Wings - Approx count - 300 left in total. (Id say no more than 400 seats max available in this stand)

Just need to start filling the darwen end now - is there large number on here that are going to buy in that stand that have been holding back??

That's assuming that all 14000 ST holders renew.

Yes that based on current + existing ST holders, of course it will change once the deadline has passed - hopefully however we keep the majority of our fans.

If we go from our poll of 1.35% of not renewing - It will leave us with 13800 ST holders + the new ones.

I'm no longer a S/T holder due to my expat status, when I was, I had one smack bang in the middle of the BBE L/T.

I managed to get tickets in a similar location at the start of last season for the first two home games, the last two games I had to frequent the U/T.

I was amazed at the difference in what you actual see, players movement, judging distance Etc, no more kids than there is the L/T, easier to get a pint at 1/2 time, atmosphere a little less but better for hearing the overall atmosphere throughout the ground.

If I was seeking one for the L/T and was unable to get one, I would not think twice about getting one for the U/T.

Still not decided where to sit then? After all your complaining about not being able to see the seating plan I'd have thought you'd have chosen a seat by now!

I wouldn't leave it too long if I were you Ben.

I've got my seat thanks, I was having a nosey, is that OK?

All my complaining? coming from someone who calls himself disgruntled

Just one thing re the Riverside... the first 3 rows are never available on onerovers. when i have tried to buy additional tickets in the past they always show as taken

Myself and my wife (a Sheff Wed fan) will be getting one for the Darwen End. Gave up my season ticket 5 years ago due to working too many weekends but at this price its daft not to. Speaking to friends who also can't commit to every game, they will be able to take the tickets off our hands when we can't make it.
