As for London, the sums are simply not worth doing. Most people there prefer to see the sights (because they are tourists) or go to the opera.

I think added to that is even League 2 football in London costs more than Rovers. That's why I didn't go to a lot of matches here last season.

On general principle we should not give the full end to the scrotey City scum. Just cos the fickle f****rs will come out in force for once doesn't mean they should get it. If the ST offer is to be a success then it should mean we will sell out the rest anyway. Let them have 3k which is about average for what they have brough in recent years. A proper big club like Everton whose fans have come in large numbers each year regardless of success would be far more deserving.

UPDATE:

Almost 7k sold now - with just under 40% (2800) so far being from new ST holders.

Also, we have nearly 10k on reserve (ie those who are still to renew up to the seat deadline). Sounds like good start, lets get more on board.

The other 20k packs will go out this week and the bus shelter posters started to appear today.

City fans have finally realised they could only get 3000 tickets this time around - looks like they may well try and get into home areas. Sell out on the cards for this one (If ST sales go well)

Discussion here

Was a bit annoyed when first reading that thread but on reflection it's quite funny. What a cheek complaining about our allocation for them particularly when the seats we get in the disabled supporters' area are pretty diabolical! Just wait until they get to Burnley!

It'll not be that easy for them to acquire tickets, it'll be fans with a history of buying tickets first then all of a sudden an influx of Manc's on the phone.

Who do they think they are anyway? ?I really do hope they only get the 3k they deserve. I'll never forget when they won promotion at Ewood and ran riot around the ground and through the 500Club. You could see their fans climbing over the wall into the Riverside.

I think the authorities that be will make this one of the four considering the timing and the likelihood demand will be there ( what's that about coming out of the wood) - with the likelihood that Bunleh are the ones that miss out or make take the gamble and leave Everton out of the equation as its late on when we play them.

In addition its will be easier to keep tabs and restrictions on the Bunleh fans rather than the Citeh - however then again - presumably it wil be a CAT A game -35/36£ -maybe the Citeh revellers will have a protest like they did at notlob pricing.

I have been to hamilton today and on the services there met three Rovers fans who had been to Ewood earlier on in the day were all wearing their new away shirts. They are students up in Jockland and are all going to be new ST holders with their mate making it a further 4.

We may well get them on here as new members as I introduced them to our well run members forum.

Received a phone call from the club yesterday with an explaination for the problems we experienced with online renewal. All of which seemed perfectly reasonable and was able to renew there and then over the phone. Still no ST pack though :)

Glad you got sorted. No need to worry about your season ticket renewal pack now that you have renewed, your not missing out on anything. All you need to look forward to is your welcome pack arriving sometime towards the beginning of August.

Darren more like!

Does anyone remember the old song sung on the BBE....."Oh Accrington (oh Accrington) is wonderful!" & the counter song "Oh Accrington is full of ####"???

......maybe a newer vocal rivalry should be started at Ewood next season....."The Darwen End is wonderful....the Darwen End is wonderful...." & maybe a counter song from the BBE??

if owt, it`ll get the atmosphere going!!

Facebook already has it`s Darwen End Singers group.
