224 gone so far (according to the Onerovers). There are a number of reasons why they are not flying off the shelves just yet :-

1) The target audience (those who took up the £20 offer for the last three games) won't have received their season ticket packs yet.

2) Uncertainty about which four games they will be moved for and exactly how much it will cost them for the privilege.

3) With unreserved seating there is zero incentive for buying early.

4) Kevin Davies :o

Why? How many tickets does he normally buy?

:P

very funny but.....

When I heard of the 199 offer I said to a pal that it might be worth me buying an ST and if I made it up 10 times over the season then it's pretty much paid for, and an excuse to go back up north is always good.

When I heard Sam wanted Davies my immediate reaction was "forget about that idea then"

How can you tell this off Onerovers? Just wondered. I've can't remember my login details at work so I can't check.

Hughesy/Groobs - With 15,000 six-fingered friends having bought Dingle Season-tickets so far (or was it 115,000?) will we know after July 1st where we are up to?

All the Packs should have gone out weeks ago....I got my S/T 4 weeks ago and got 2 packs and 7 application forms. So why not...everyone on Data-Base.

Lancashire Evening Telegraph reported today that Rovers have sold out the entire Blackburn End, both upper and lower tier, subject to renewals. Therefore, if all existing season ticket holders renew their seats by Wednesday, there won't be an empty seat there next season.

And someone needs to tell the online system to stop selling them!

Good chance mine will be empty for a few games though...

i'ts been greyed out on Onerovers since the weekend

The top tier hasnt.

The lower tier has been on and off, bar the odd seat at the front which seems to become available for a day here and there (when people move?)

Now I'm not doubting you here, it's the system I am querying. Why would you need to select a seat when it's unreserved seating? Seems a bit pointless?

It was the same with the 3 for 20 offer. Believe it is due to the ticketing system.

Similar the the way for some gigs, standing tickets are assigned a row and seat number - eases counting.

The seats are arbitrarily chosen, but they indicate how many have been sold. ..... 8 more gone today :rover:

So that the software can count how many tickets are sold in that area, whilst still dealing with other customers trying to buy at the same time.

SNAP! I thought exactly the same way at the time, with the two small differences that I would be going "down South" and as I usually sit in the JW upper when I do go, I would be buying my S/T for that area.

Anyway, the good news is that I have succumbed to the temptation (regardless of the Davies situation), and my application for a S/T for the front row of the JW upper is already in the post and should be getting processed at Ewood as I write. Quite a big occasion for me, as this will be my first S/T for many years. I feel the same as DP that if I make it to 10 matches in the whole season it will have been worthwhile, and if my health will allow I might make it to considerably more than that.
