They wont get the whole stand there will be some rows blocked off I imagine.

I think maybe segregation was the worry cause this way they can keep Burnley fans at the Darwen end side of the ground pre and post match

So that's the coach park and the D/E then for them. :D

I do agree if this is a way of Rovers cashing in rather than police dictated its a disgrace.

Just hope City isnt the other game I don't want any more of their lot than absolutley necessary.

I get the feeling that this has been taken out of Rovers hands.

Concerns over policing/safety have to be the key factor in this decision.

At Turd moor,If they decide to put Burnley fans in half of the cricket field stand WITH the Rovers fans then where's the logic or fairness?

If we dont get the whole of the cricket field shed then serious questions need asking <_<

if they are in the away end then there WILL BE A RIOT !

Is there not only one set of turnstyles?

If it does happen Abbs I want to know why they are prepared to take the gamble of having Rovers and Burnley fans literally side by side at Turd moor but not at Ewood.

If risk of trouble is high you LIMIT an away sides allocation and not increase it for crying out louds sake!!

exactly...thats why i said the enclosure so to speak and if dingles wanted to give us an end then we could give them the same amount.

talk about taking ewood back ..it should read TAKING EWOOD BACK BUT SORRY BURNLEY NEED YOUR SEAT MORE THAN YOU!

at the end of the day, it comes down to money ... they can sell 7500 @ £35+ to them - however if the people of Blackburn and the surrounding areas really got behind the club, in terms of buying season tickets and sold more than 22,000 (a VERY BIG ASK, i know), then the club COULDN'T give the whole Darwen End to them OR ANYBODY ..... so get everybody who support/follow BRFC to buy a season ticket, get the number of season tickets sold above 20,000 and keep BURNLEY/LIVERPOOL/MAN CITY or EVERTON and MAN UTD in the gods.

IT CAN BE DONE, BUT ONLY IF THE PEOPLE BUY SEASON TICKETS.

So much for the bargain £150 S/T all 19 games now cost £250 can't see to many being happy with that one.

BBE/RS £199

Sounds like the D/E are being penalized for taking back Ewood.

Sam ringing around for a spare seat in the JW, Does he not know you can't change seat until after the deadline.

as an aside, just had a telephone call from Big Sam urging me to renew my season ticket ... I already had about 9.10am this morning, but still a nice touch for the big man to ring me ;)

One thing guaranteed to stop me renewing my season ticket is Allardyce ringing me about it.

I don't think people should worry about the current sales of DE season tickets, most people will leave it late, I wouldn't have got round to sorting my season ticket if it wasn't for the renewal deadline.

Supprised at the pricing 250 quid seams a lot more than 199 phscologically. Don't think many more season tickets will go in the DE if there are any left in the BBE Lower and RS after July 1st.

Feel a bit disapointed to be honest feels like the club have had a change of heart on the pricing. Wasn't to conserned about the Dingles getting 8,000 tickets I was convinced that we would regularly fill the lower tier, in the games upto then and the club would have to split the stand down the middle.

Glad a renewed my ticket in the Blackburn end.

Disgrace on Burnley getting 7000, angry call to club tomorrow.

I'd hold fire if I were you - all that's been announced is that Rovers fans won't be sharing the Darwen End with the Dingles. And we already knew that - the issue of segregation outside the ground makes it a non-starter - always would, always will. Having the upper tier turnstiles in between the lower tier turnstiles makes it completely unworkable.

However, nobody has even said that Burnley will get 7000. The clubs and the police might decide it's not a good idea so they may leave the lower tier empty. If they decide the thing can be managed with 7K dingles in there then so be it. At 35 notes each it'll bring in #245,000 from the one game alone.

To match that 245K income (from one game) through Darwen End ticket sales for the whole season - all 19 games, Rovers will need to shift 1650 adult season tickets in this Darwen End 15 game offer.

I partially agree - personally I would have bought a reserved seat in the DE covering all matches for £199 weeks ago. As it is - £150, missing 4 top matches isn't as good a deal - and unreserved seating doesn't appeal to me (all personal choice I admit). Though I will still buy one - but being unreserved there is no real rush - which is possibly how a number of people feel.

However - anyone taking advantage of the the £25 JW Stand tickets will be in an area that costs £299 - so I don't think it is necessarily fair to directly compare the DE price to be BBE
