I was a season ticket holder for some years until last season, when due to the baby I couldn't justify it. I would have though the club may have sent me some sort of pack to encourage me to get one this season, but nowt so far.

I have all the info I need Hughesy, downloaded from the website. My point is I thought the club would have sent me something, I know I would have if I was in charge of ST sales at Ewood!

You arent allowed to suggest the club could do more.

Simple question about anyone that hasnt received a pack - have you contacted the club to find out why?!?!

End of the day the likes of Ricky, ozzie will have sorted something out off their own back, but thats not the point.

The club have talked about this database for years, Ive been asked my details everytime Ive bought a ticket for home or away, so why the hell arent people recieving the info as a matter of course?

Hughesy, you are just like me and countless others, all we want is a packed Ewood Park, however youve got to accept it could have been done much better, youre initial point was, 'Just wait, the packs will arrive', then it was 'Just wait until the existing season ticket deadline has passed', now its 'err well ring the club if you havent got a pack, common sense'

The much vaunted database is a total waste of time and has entirely missed its whole reason for being this summer.

I'll add my name to the received nowt list.

Bought tickets for 10 years on a match by match basis so thought I may have receievd something.

But you are aware of the deals available?

Can people not get off their backside and purchase tickets?

I renewed my season ticket way before any notification dropped through my letter box. I just keep my eye out every season for the date they go on sale then buy one. It's simple.

First come first served.

I have it on good authority that if you had purchased a season ticket for the coming season prior to the dates that season ticket packs were due to be sent out, then you wouldnt have been included on the list for mail shoting. Thus the club was saving money.

I understand that the packs were mailed out to almost 50000 fans in 3 separate batches

Ive been told that as well. And Ive been told that I wasnt sent a pack cos I got mine on 27th May and the list was compiled on 1st June. Yet I did receive a pack on 3rd July

They probably said "flippin eck that Wilky fella's been back on the phone for the 16th time, on about season ticket packs - and he's all over the internet about it and on to the chairman. He's already bought his tickets, but for crying out loud send the guy a pack and perhaps he'll stop whinging about it!!"

:rolleyes::P

I have looked on the onerovers website and it looks like more season tickets have been sold in the Darwen End. Does anyone know how many tickets have been sold?

Well it was 16,000 (on around the 5th or 6th) - however they shut down the site a little after that whilst they did the transfers, whilst the system was down, they receieved around 400 or so more which now need to be processed.

How early did you put your transfer request in? just asking because I know they take those received 1st as priority...

I wandered down to Ewood last Friday and asked, for my son, for one transfer and one new ST in the BBE and for the two seats to be together. A very helpful young lady took all the details and promised to call me - probably the middle of this week. On Monday morning she called offering us good seats and a choice of several pairs. She agreed to hold the seats for 24 hours and on Tuesday morning I went down and purchased them both. Excellent service.

On the other hand my youngest who is a lapsed ST holder has had no communication from the club. I've had no packs but renewed two more STs on deadline day but haven't a confirmation of this. My eldest recdeived two ST packs and a confirmation of his renewal. As said before we all have the same surname, address and consecutive customer numbers. I just think it's strange.

I am very clear on one thing - ask the ticket office to help and they will do so wherever they can.

My daughter had a free season ticket up until she was 8 and then she took her mums side and started supporting the bolton winkers, She had a pack sent to her today in the post and hasnt been to Ewood Park as a Rovers fan for 8 years.

So it just shows their are some irregular problems with issuing these packs.

I hope you are right Dave because as things stand at present with the dirt cheap prices in the Darwen end, sales are nothing short of embarrassing.

This makes me laugh ... how many people on here slagged off the Darwen End deal, and then the above statement
