last years season tickets just re-activated?

Yes.

Last years tickets will be used.

This will be the third season they'll have used the same cards.

Does anyone know if we will be issued with new tickets or are last years season tickets just re-activated?

I heard a rumour we had only sold 14,000 season tickets. Not good if true.

 yeah ok.

17,200 ish yesterday and we are selling between 20-40 per day at the moment.

So hopefully we will have 18k ish prior to the start of the season, although the club are hoping there might be some kind of late surge......

That is better news! He picked it up off someone on the LET board who knew someone who "worked" at Rovers.

A late surge may happen if we sign a couple of decent players

Champions league season tickets cost more. I remember queueing up for ages before the first game because Rovers had forgot to stick CL stickers on about 2000 people's season tickets to let them in.

Anyway I doubt we had 20k season ticket holders that year. Our first home game as Premiership Champions saw just 22,860 people weatch Rovers vs QPR. The first Champs League game there were 20,900 on.

we did have 20k season ticket holders that year, sorry boys but if you think differently you are wrong.

ask the club?

I have a video from that year too were they mention the record number of ST holders for Rovers, and quote the 20k mark.

Agreed.

If you remember there were two season tickets avaliable that season. A league ST and a 'Premium' ST that covered league and Champions League, obviously at least a fewthousand fans chose the league only ST, explaining lower Champions League gates.

Feeling the heat Dennis?

;)

Nah, sticking to the 17000 figure SG, until shown different. :)

Clare says:

There's no way that as prem champions we only drew 2860 walk on fans and away fans. No way at all.

DE S/T holders may want to read this.

On another board a DE S/T holder has had a text from the club.

The resulting phone call lead to him posting this.

"On the negative side it would appear that Darren Season Ticket holders will not all get free tickets for the Citeh game, there is a limited number available and to get one you must go to Ewood on Monday morning with your proof of purchase to have a chance."

25,932 V QPR

Our average gate that season was around 27,000....... we're right I tell thee Dennis :P

I say nay, you're wrong SG. We've had this debate before if I remember right.

We have around 500 season ticket holders in there so far - cant see there not being enough availability for them can you?? The Jack Walker stand holds 10-11k - I cant see that being full already boss

When i bought mine yesterday the guy in the TO checked and said to get the free ticket must come down to Ewood to collect your ticket. When I said how far away I live he said I could phone up for them.

Will be mighty annoyed if I have to go to Ewood to collect them or miss out.

Not sure really why they couldn't have sorted them out for me there and then.

I have just counted to see how many Darwen End season tickets have been sold and I counted 476 (not including bottom row).

Another 14 gone today taking the total to 490.

I expect there'll be a late surge in sales once people get back from their hols.

It's not like the earlier you buy, the better seat you get.

Sound a bit familiar to FelchMaster ;)

I still haven't recieved my new seat, after I requested a transfer. Hopefully it will come through the post.
