Let's look at it this way.

Record season ticket sales: In the region of 19000

This year season ticket sales: About 17500

Last year season ticket sales: About 14000

After the season that we had last year in nearly getting relegated. I think this is a very good response. Well done Rovers.

Apparently Hospitality is doing very well this season so far. We're re-building Pennants as 'Jack's Kitchen' which apparently is starting to look very nice.

If anyone fancies corp, They have put the price of this down and therefore it will be a good casual destination.

Does anyone know of any people still to renew?? Really hope we can get close to 19k ST holders.

As usual, the information relating to this on the website is sh!t ... I cannot believe that the club (a business with a turnover of £40m+) do not have an UP TO DATE section on the website.

there is a whole section of the site called Hospitality that is either out of date, or just no information at all ..... i wouldn't mind, but the whole site is a template that many other clubs use, and is probably just a drag and drop template. obviously an area of the site the website operator isn't to bothered about keeping updated.

I got a letter from Rovers today, saying that the free complimentary tickets for the Citeh game (for DE season ticket holders) will be able to be collected as from Monday 27th July on a first come first served basis. You can collect tickets before they go on general sale.

So if you`re entitled to a ticket, claim it early.......or run the risk of losing out.

What was that you lot were saying about giving away tickets the other day?

:D

Let's get to 18k first.

There seems to be a few sales in the Darwen End each day, lets hope that continues and as John Williams stated a late surge. Can't see many more being sold in the JW stand though.

Can't think why you should say that Ben. Best seats in the house; fantastic view and nobody standing up in front of you just at the critical moments.....that alone is worth every penny!

Fair point although not everyone wants to sit down all game and be quiet. That together with the prices leads to think anymore people who buy will do so in the DE!

It's the same thing, Rovers have just decided to do it game by game so you lot don't cotton on :D:lol:

....Are you still here dingle?

Maybe you should run along & play elsewhere. May i suggest the M65 ;)

Why are Burnley supporters called "Dingles"?

Our Burnley chums come from a different gene pool.

In the US, they would be backwoodsmen from Arkansas, inter-married, inter-bred with six fingers and toes and a little slow in thought and deed.

I think you get the picture.

I use Rovers Hospitality a couple of times a season, for example a table in Pennants to entertain work guests. I have had nothing from Rovers regarding Corporate Hospitality this year nor has my "mate" (Liverpool fan) who books a table for 10 in the JW every year for the Rovers v Liverpool game.

Not exactly impressed. Given the economic climate and the lack of business/corporate support (eg. about 1/2 the boxes are empty) at Rovers I would have expected some effort in this department.

<_< good commercial sense, but it also rips of the supporters of other clubs,we will all be complianing about the prices at away matches but condoning our own club for doing the samething :P

Ferk the away fans waggy, I suggested charging £60 plus for Mau U fans and giving them a far smaller allocation than 7-8k.

All in all charging a higher rate for the available seats makes the season ticket a far more attractive proposition and adds value to having a season ticket.
