Some hilarious reading on that City Forum. It's quite tragic the way some of them bang on about their wonderful support when their own ground has had as many empty seats as anywhere over the last few years!

Looking forward to seeing Ewood more full on a regular basis this season, the increased atmosphere really adds to the match-day experience :tu:

Bang on. Just about getting 40k crowds in one of Britain's biggest urban areas is nothing to crow about. Averaging 25k from a small deprived town on the other hand...

Some of their away followings have been shocking over the last few years, if the Arab money had gone elsewhere, that clubs fans would have been packing out an away end somewhere.

They have derided United supporters as RAG's for years, yet the arrogance of Citeh fans is already something to behold, they have won NOTHING!!!!!

Do the job Saturdays boys!

I would presume that the club should be aware that the most likely place for City fans to be will be in the JW as the Blackburn End and Riverside are pretty well sold out with season ticket holders, so they might be a bit more alive to possible trouble than they would have been in the past.

Alive? That's not a word I'd use to describe our Plod contingent! The one who operates the traffic lights along the road once fell asleep and left ours on red for about 20 minutes. I was just getting out of the car to complain when the blighter woke up and pressed the button :angry2:

I hope the police are not as useless as they were in the JW against Celtic when they walked away from trouble and confrontation.

The JW is the last place normally policed.

My experience of police at Ewood got me thrown out of my own club ground , cause i asked police to eject Evertons fans sat infornt of me who where verbally imtimadating by girlfriend.

When I suggested the police were affraid of the everton fans , he thew me out.

police are bullies and w4nk3rs and the lowest order of primate.

Agreed, full of sad little men that like the authority but don't have the cojones to join the Army.

10,000 mancs on saturday then,**

Largest ever away following in the premier league **

** city fans claim

That made me laugh when I read it! Nowt like getting carried away is their, and they wonder why people are having a go at them. Some of the noobs on that website go on like they fill grounds home and away every game, they may get closer now with all the tag-alongs but they were outdone by a few clubs last season at Ewood which is something they dont seem to realise. Oh well it just means there will be more miserable gits than usual when we burst their bubble :rover: COME ON YOU BLUES :tu:

They cant call united or liverpool fans for being glory hunters, not at the difference in selling tickets that they have expierenced.

On another note, in an article in paper today about google searches on football.

For football season tickets, burnley searches had experienced a 5,000 % rise, amazing what the premier league does eh

Anyway, back on topic...

Checked the onerovers stadium planner today for the first time in a couple of weeks and it's looking good. All the bits where we were a bit 'holy' are now 'unholy' - JW upper and lower tier corners. Very happy with how it's looking.

Hughesy... need I even ask the question?

Not too sure about ST's......but for the City game

JW Upper - 247 seats left

JW Lower - 60 seats left

Blackburn End Lower - Sold out

Blackburn End Upper - 55 + 207 (N06) + 214 (n10) = 476 seats left

Riverside - 17 seats left

Darwen End - Sold out

Total remaining = 800 with 476 of them in the Family stand...........

I'd be amazed if we have sold 1,000 season tickets in less than 4 days.

I hope the club plug the Darwen end season ticket initiative after the City game just to remind anyone out there that the City game didnt really effect the deal.
