Never worked out why he didn't get a chance at Spurs, they paid a pretty big fee for him. I think he play in both full back positions if needed as well. Definitely would be worth a look as a replacement for Ooijer/Zurab.

I think we'd be quite a good level for him. He has the quality to push our 1st teamers, and has a pretty impressive CV including, Sporting Braga, Benfica and then his stint at Spurs. He has also played for Portugal 6 times so can't be bad... Can't remember him having a bad game for Spurs to be honest. He was pretty unlucky that when Dawson got injured, King came back to take his place... He's well worth a trial at the very least, and would leave us with more money to spend on our midfield that really needs work...

This doesnt wash with me.

If a player is available his agents job is to get him the best deal possible.

He wont just sit there and and keep quiet. He wants to get as much out of the deal as possible

and by informing more clubs they'll start a bidding war. I cant see a deal just being done.....especially

if the player is the calibre Nickos "hinting" at.

Hey, My reply wasnt a dig at Nicko, I know his info in most cases is stone wall, but my point is maybe theres another reason

why Nickos keeping it from us, I havent asked him once to reveal the player in question, He has every right to keep it a secret,

he did something similar in the summer regarding Matias fernandez, Nicko knew the interest was real but the deal never really passed

that stage so He didnt bother posting the info as it was false hope.

Ye ye i get what you mean but when the player/agent does find out, thats when his agent will start courting him

around numerous clubs, thats what i meant when i said its hard to keep a deal quiet (unless your mokoena )
