tony gale's mic Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I know, it just reminds me of Roque. Toni, would probably land up at Juventus or Milan. Anyway, Sam does tend to surprise us with signings, that we never thought was possible. Roque was a no hoper who'd never scored more than 5 league goals in a season for Bayern. Toni has scored 38 in 56 games. Totally different situations...
67splitscreen Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Someone on Rovers Mad translated it for me. We see sensational pictures from the LASK training on the Gugl: Ivica and Toni Vastic - side by side! Same body language, same attitude, same game style and already speculated whether Toni Vastic already on Sunday during the last Bundesliga in Mattersburg is used-and also whether the resignation of Ivo but not to permanently is how accepted? Giant talent Fact: Toni Vastic considered great talent. The Blackburn Rovers are tuned to Toni. Two weeks ago he was on trial training in England. Ivo: "Blackburn wants it and observed it constantly - but it is probably better to make the school ready." " Toni has also offers from NK Dinamo Zagreb and Partizan. He is in the U-16 national team, is still in the new Academy of LASK, leads to the table with the U17 (clear before storm, rapid and Red Bull Salzburg) and is used also in the 19. 9 Toni enters the number 9. His model? Of course my dad and Cristiano Ronaldo. "" Now leaves him Hans Krankl to the first time correctly when the professionals with trainieren: hermut vom Typ is he like the Ivo technically strong, schlaksig. He has what but I can not yet fully assess it. Because I must often see him. "" Ivo says: Toni is just like I. He has the football in the blood. He would prevail. But I do him no pressure. He should alone can develop. "" Enigmatic Vastic itself provides Ratselraten at the LASK. Ivo enthusiasts Austria with a great Freistos Gate 4-0 in the farewell match on. He went to a few days later in Sattledt when a friendly. And the superstar was this week so far every day during training. Now ask all: was it really? LASK boss Peter Michael Reichel: "it is not to replace. I have therefore eingeredet upon him. Personally, I would have most favourite been he had a few months, until winter,
The Rover of Finland Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Where´s Nicko? Maybe he has so much to tell us that it takes time to write Mystery man is really bothering me. Could you Nicko tell us one thing please? If RSC styas could there be working partnership between Santa and THE mystery man?
mick Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 i know that it is early days but the words from player and club suggest that rsc is going to stay. it looks as though nicko is aware of that and that is why the mystery striker is to be signed regardless of whether we sell roque. perhaps benni or one of roberts or derbs is the gonner! (knowing that derbs is already subject to an offer from greece)
andyroversmad Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 If we dont sell Roque how we gonna strengthen the midfield.
nicko Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Where´s Nicko? Maybe he has so much to tell us that it takes time to write Mystery man is really bothering me. Could you Nicko tell us one thing please? If RSC styas could there be working partnership between Santa and THE mystery man? Busy, busy, busy. Quite a lot happening. One potential signing being kept for Sunday. Waiting on word on Mister X. Thought that might have moved on, but no confirmation. Bit of news on Derbyshire...round about 11pm. No PMs before then please.
Guest benmaxwell Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 No PMs before then please. Did you get my message about that player...?
roversmad95 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 looks like we are going to miss out on m'bia.... now it says only 4 million nicko any chance we will be having a go to get him? http://www.setanta.com/uk/Articles/Footbal...rts/gnid-55934/
nicko Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Did you get my message about that player...? Yes, but no news on that one. looks like we are going to miss out on m'bia.... now it says only 4 million nicko any chance we will be having a go to get him? http://www.setanta.com/uk/Articles/Footbal...rts/gnid-55934/ Rennes didn't want to sell him when Everton went in a year ago...bit surprised that they will now...price seems low. Good player, type who should do well over here. However suspicious of the story. Checking right now.
Amo Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Has there been anymore on the Matias Fernandez link from last month??
nicko Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Has there been anymore on the Matias Fernandez link from last month?? Not aware of that one moving.
gumboots Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Fact: Toni Vastic considered great talent. The Blackburn Rovers are tuned to Toni. Two weeks ago he was on trial training in England. Ivo: "Blackburn wants it and observed it constantly - but it is probably better to make the school ready." " Toni Should read - it's better to finish school first. Will do the whole thing later if i get time and nobody else beats me to it.
Guest benmaxwell Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 A team 'in the north of England' is interested in Radoslav Kovac apparently according to his agent... Well we know it's not Newcastle...?
EwoodGlory Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 He was on loan there from Spartak Moscow. My West Ham mate says he's nowt special.
nicko Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I think Stephane M'Bia is more likely to go to Espanyol than Everton...
Iceman Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Roque to stay or Roque still likely to leave Mr Nixon?
nicko Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Roque to stay or Roque still likely to leave Mr Nixon? Can't say. Too complicated - big fee, fitness questions. Wish it was an easy and quick sale. Doubt it somehow.
ffan Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Would I be totally wrong in saying that the striker is Marcus Berg?
The Rover of Finland Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Would I be totally wrong in saying that the striker is Marcus Berg? Hope you are..
Ewood and I Would Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Why hope not? Don't know much about him but seems to have very good reviews. Spurs and Everton are after him if you believe goal.com http://www.goal.com/en/news/462/netherland...cus-berg-report
farhanology Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Wild punts on mystery striker X http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mounir_El_Hamdaoui - not realistic, Dutch golden boot, bigger clubs on the radar; however had some English experience, wouldn't be surprised if Coyle was interested in him previously http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moussa_Dembélé - strongly linked to him once earlier last season
blue and whites Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 nicko: are there any chance you will be letting us know on some potential rovers signings tonight?

He is highly rated and is very unlikely coming Ewood.
