If we are getting in two strikers before roque is sold then i doubt there gonna be that good.

I would rather we concentrated on getting a quality midfielder first.

nicko says one of the strikers is good and will go straight in to the starting 11.. so lets see..

Gelson Fernandes has been linked with three Premier League clubs after his agent admitted the Swiss star is likely to leave Manchester City.

Bolton, Fulham and Portsmouth have all been credited with an interest in the midfielder, who fears he will have to quit Eastlands to secure regular first-team football.

Could be another of Nicko's three clubs in for one player is a load of bull?

He is a good player and one I think we may be able to get

Reported on the Spurs MB from a guy who was spot on with the Barry deal.

RSC to Spurs not happening.

* Possibly going to Manchester City

The Tevez deal won't be announced until 1st july ( I don't know why) And his strike partner will be Roque Santa Cruz

He's not signing, he might be signing, he is signing. No wonder he was spot on with the Barry deal, did he cover all options with that one as well?

Benni managed 10 goals this season, despite his fitness problems. If Sam can whip him into shape this summer, then that tally could possibly double.

He's already proven given a full season he can double that. He just ahsn't been given that same chance since.

Strange considering if he was in the team every week his fitness would actually be better.

but the reason he's not in the team every week is because his fitness is so poor. I mean he became unfit during the season....that's very unprofessional for someone who is being paid very hansomly

Havent checked, but has Martinez been confirmed Wigan manager? Anyway, Nicko any further news on Civelli?

BBC story from yesterday morning says that the deal is close and Wigan hope to announce it "early next week". No hurry I guess, players are on holiday and the transfer window is still closed.
