Good job there's clubs about that buy players like Jimmy Bullard, when he's as injury prone as Reidy. Anyway I understand that its a big 'IF' with regards to a club coming in for him, but it wasn't long ago when he was fit & playing that there were clubs like spurs looking at him.

I reckon if Rovers wanted to sell they could, I dont think that we have to keep him, nor do I think we should, if we can bring in better players.

Jimmy Bullard was having an amazing season, scoring lots of goals, getting called into the England squad and being Fulham's best player by a long chalk when Fulham sold him. He was fit.

Reid has not kicked a ball in anger in nearly a year.

I remember us signing him and he was being touted as a huge prospect and in the world of Football manager he has been a bit of a cult hero. Seen a few youtube videos in the past and he looks very, very quick and has some serious potential.

What are our chances of bringing him back? I know he has played the last 2 seasons on loan in Germany, i guess what counts against him is the lack of International football...

With the Rocky situation we are blessed if we do and blessed if we don't. If we sell we get good money and buy new talent to balance up the team. If we don't then we have a proven class striker who, if we'd been the ones to be spending 20 million for him, would have us creaming our shorts this next season in anticipation I'm feeling good about the progress so far, love Givet, got a good young prospect winger, players coming back from injury, interesting names being linked and no real pressure to sell anyone.

I know about the Mister X move...and only found out there was a second striker being lined up because Derbyshire's camp had been told that was due to happen before he would be sold.

I understand Mister X's move is still looking good, but I can't be sure about who the other striker is - although I have my suspicions.

Any more news on M'Bami nicko? Seemed to be a bit of momentum with that one but we haven't heard anything for a while. We need at least two signings in central midfield and having no money means he's probably one of the best options available.

Last I heard Rovers still wanted to see him play...and he was not in the side. Sounds like a pre-season trial job to me.

I don't think we'll have a chance of signing him if that's true, I'm sure there will be other teams willing to offer him a contract without needing to give him a trial first. He's played for two of the biggest teams in France, played over 200 Ligue 1 games and is a regular international for a half decent team.

I don't see a rush for M'Bami so far - if there was then Rovers would have to react. He has been hawked around for years and nobody has gone for him. Decent player, but small.

He hasn't played that much this season to judge him, so you can't blame the scouts for wanting to see him more and be sure.

not had a season ticketsat ewood since Don Mackay and King Kenny were gaffers - ill get my fair share of games in this year though, its just Ill have to sit in he away end when the villa role into town............

Rovers are putting a strong case together to get him a work permit. I think it is an important tale, but obviously this is a view not shared.

Hope the kid is allowed into the country.

Have to say I am excited about this David Hoilett... if he is as fast and skillful as they say that is good news. We literally have not had any real pace in the side since we had Bellamy four years ago. WIth Van Heerden and Hoilett they can give us new options.

At leaast it will be interesting to see how they do in preseason.
