Here's thinking of you, ihtd. Whatever it may be, let's hope you get it sorted as soon as possible.

Best wishes.

May just be a cyst. I had a scan about 6 months ago and they found a lump in my chest, (a big one, about 2"). Turned out to be a benign cyst which they drained through a tube down my throat (sounds worse than it is). I crapped myself at the time though.

Well I went to the doctors this evening, she thinks its just part of my epidydmus (excuse the spelling) but i'm seeing a surgeon to have some fluid drained from my other testicle at the end of next month and she said if its still a problem then, to ask the surgeon to have a quick check on it. As for the swallowing problem, i've been referred to see a ENT specialist to hopefully get to the bottom of it. At least she thinks its nothing serious at the moment. Its taken a load off my mind at least for now.

What I don't understand is how it can be part of my epidydmus when its not the same on the other side, but thats probably due to the hydrocele that is on the other side i'm guessing.

Thanks for all your support guys, I didn't know of anyone I could talk to about this and you guys really helped. Thank You!!!

When you said Groin it sounded like it could be an Hernia.

Do you play football? As that could be the cause of it.

There's no point trying to diagnose a problem on the Internet you should watch embarrassing illnesses on Channel 4 or check out their website it's really useful. Honestly watching that programme makes you feel normal.

Anyways good to know you're alright my fellow Boltonian.

ihtd

Mine turned about to be a epidydmus cyst, so may be similar was relieved when the doctor told me on Friday

Good luck

I've had the same for years. I was brickin it at first, as I had the lump and pain there. I thought it was something that happened when my brother fair and squarely kneed me in the nads. Then when I felt the lump I went straight to the doctor and had scans and ultrasound etc. In the end, I was give anti-inflammatory tablets to take when it got a bit gingerly. It still gets sore every now and then.
