BlueWhiteDynamite Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Well we have to win that game in october and get off to a flyer really, Octobers a shocker
Brownie Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 We've got a horrible last 5 games to contend with. It s a horrible last 9 !
LeChuck Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Was anyone who pretended to know the fixtures right then? Stoke at home indeed... I'm happy with City at home, I think there will be a lot of changes at COMS and it might take them a while to settle down. Could be a spicy one if Roque is on the opposing team. Edit: Very happy with our opening eight or so actually. I said a few weeks ago I'd like to avoid the big teams because I'd hate for us to be playing catch up from the start again. We've got a chance to get start off well this time, even if we only do pick up those three points in October.
Esulx Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 October looks horrid. October 3 Arsenal (A) 17 Burnley (H) 24 Chelsea (A) 31 Man Utd (A) Unbelievable month isnt it. Write this one off with 4 points hopefully.
A cup of beans Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 We've got a horrible last 5 games to contend with. i think the last 9 are very difficult!
Bobby G Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Oh yes, City at Ewood, hope that Santa Cruz is fit to get a GOOD reception. Possibly one of our hardest end of season runs... I think the key months for our position could be the mid-season mark.
AggyBlue Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Last four home games look a bit tough. We can't be leaving it late to reach safety next season.
Jordan Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Great....Girlfriends due date is 18th October. I blame this one on Grooby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unluckymorton Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Unbelievable month isnt it. Write this one off with 4 points hopefully. Who are we going to get the 4th point from?
bazza Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 We've got to make sure we've got plenty of points on the board before October.
Threepenny Bit Foot Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Bumley should be bottom after their first five (Utd,Chelsea, Everton, Lpool)
T4E Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 It s a horrible last 9 ! Quite right. I havent analysed it in detail yet but surely there must be large chunks that look good for us?
braddock Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Bumley should be bottom after their first five (Utd,Chelsea, Everton, Lpool) anyone got a full burnley list?
Beta Ray Bill Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Great....Girlfriends due date is 18th October. I blame this one on Grooby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell her to cross her legs. I would like to thank Grooby. One week later and I'd have missed it by being in Sweden!
ffan Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Our game against ye at the Cottage is subject to change if we qualify for Europe.
Guest Kamy100 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 The Fulham game on 18th August has the potential of being postponed due to the Europa League qualifiers. The fixture list could have been kinder as we have a real tough run of 6 fixtures starting on 19th September: 19 Everton (A) 26 Aston Villa (H) October 3 Arsenal (A) 17 Burnley (H) 24 Chelsea (A) 31 Man Utd (A) That is the 5 of last year's top 6 with 4 of the games away from home!
Hughesy Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Id heard we had City at Home from a City forum but didnt believe it due to the Stoke info on here. Good start for us - all the first 7 are games in which we are capable of getting something from. October is good too - nothing better than getting the toughest fixtures out of the way all at once.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Why are there clumps of Big Four games for everyone? Wolves play them all in a row in Dec and again back to back in Feb. Dingles have a horrendous start. We need to get off the mark quickly.
Hughesy Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Quite right. I havent analysed it in detail yet but surely there must be large chunks that look good for us? November - Feb - in that time we only face Liverpool (twice) who finished in the top 8 last season.
alexanders Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Looks like a decent december month, which is extremely important: December 5 Liverpool (H) 12 Hull (A) 15 Birmingham (A) 19 Tottenham (H) 26 Wigan (A) 28 Sunderland (H)
