Iceman Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Lee Grooby has told the official board he has a dead laptop. Surely Grooby can get another laptop. Jeez we at least want to know whats happening. Btw, Man City are 2-0 down against Orlando Pirates in South Africa

Amo Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I do think it's a little premature for fans to be "encouraged" by the style of play during pre-season. It's all about getting everyone up to speed for the year ahead. When competitive football resumes, points win prizes, and Sam's reputation is at stake, I'm sure we'll see a return to % football. That's no dig at the manager; I'm just trying to avoid a false dawn.

Miker Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Anyone watching this game? What's happening? Why can't we have a live stream for the pre-season games on the official site like some of the other clubs (Man City, Arsenal) do...?
Doaksie Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 First 45 min game finished, 0-0 with Nacional. Just going off the live text from the official site, we seemed to enjoy plenty of possession, but lacked a cutting edge up-front (hardly a surprise!)
Rover_the_hill Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 What was the line up and who was on the bench?
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 If we beat Hadjuk Split by more than 1 goal we win the mini tournament. Come on Rovers
Doaksie Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Who do we have on the bench tonight? Game over already (45 mins only). I'd expect us to line-up with many new faces in the other game. Probably all 11. Full details here: Official Site Live Text
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Why have we played Nacional and not Martimo? I was sure we were meant to play Martimo and it says that we were supposed to play them earlier on this thread.
Doaksie Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Why have we played Nacional and not Martimo? I was sure we were meant to play Martimo and it says that we were supposed to play them earlier on this thread. They cancelled on us late in the day. Few players appearing in both 45 min games - Olsson, Andrews and Benni Mac. Robbo back in between the sticks too!
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 What was the line up and who was on the bench? Rovers 0-0 Nacional Brown Jacobsen-Samba-Khizanishvilli-Olsson Judge-Andrews-N'Zonzi-Treacy McCarthy-Gallagher Rovers v Hajduk Split Robinson Andrews-Nelsen-Givet-Olsson Doran-Diouf-Dunn-Pedersen McCarthy-Roberts
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Grooby is very slow at updating the game kicked off about 10 mins ago but it still days o mins
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Smoke in the ground! Still 0-0 although Split almost had a sight of goal.
bob fleming Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 1-0 down according to the official site. Robinson, one of Inces signings, may have been at fault. Allardyce's tactics to blame I reckon. I've had it with this lot. Sack the Board.
unleaded Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Ibricic the scorer is one of the players being tracked by Rovers even before this game..................Rovers scouts watched him in action for his national team(Bosinia)...............Robinson must have nightmares about Croatia!.............. Ibricic Scouted By Rovers..........
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 There on top of us. To win the tournament we need to win by two goals in less than 30 minutes.
slough_rover Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 1-0 down according to the official site. Robinson, one of Inces signings, may have been at fault. Allardyce's tactics to blame I reckon. I've had it with this lot. Sack the Board. Its a pre season friendly sweetheart dont be such a drama queen...
