Doaksie Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Its a pre season friendly sweetheart dont be such a drama queen... Another case of sarcasm being very difficult to portray through the written word I suspect.

Amo Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Its a pre season friendly sweetheart dont be such a drama queen... He was being sarcastic. What's your excuse?
Dan Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Grooby is very slow at updating the game kicked off about 10 mins ago but it still days o mins He should've got a MacBook!!
bob fleming Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 There on top of us. To win the tournament we need to win by two goals in less than 30 minutes. That's never going to happen rovers1995 - you should know by now, they let us down every single time without fail. Always. We make it so far then make things difficult then throw it all away - almost on purpose. Just get used to it. They should have stayed at home. Good work Slough! I'm only messing mate, yep I know it's the lowest form of wit I just can't help myself. It's just about fitness at this stage.
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Half way through the game now and it seems that Split are still the better side.
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Just hope we equalise, would like us to go the whole pre season without losing
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 It appears we are really struggling to create chances and their goalkeeper has had no real saves to make. Just twelve minutes left.
Pugg Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Its a pre season friendly sweetheart dont be such a drama queen... Sweetheart - love it!
slough_rover Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 He was being sarcastic. What's your excuse? Im just a misreable sod
bob fleming Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Not unless we equalise. Which we haven't. Yet. Nor will we. Guten Abend meine herren!
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 They are a lot fitter than us because there season starts next weekend.
rovers1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Topman that is pathetic. Whether you are joking or not, that kind of thing causes arguments.
champions1995 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 A little disappointed with the fact that we failed to break down both Nacional and Split, creating precious few chances in the process. At the end of the day it was a friendly, and we can learn from this so that we will be ready for the new season come 15th August.
Amo Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Topman that is pathetic. Whether you are joking or not, that kind of thing causes arguments. Only if you're obtuse enough not to recognise sarcasm.
bob fleming Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 SAM OUT. I'm with you all the way mate. Either he grows back his moustache or he simply has to go. We can't keep burying our heads in the sand pretending it's not there. That and a forward should be the priority between now and August 14th. 1. Tache. 2. Striker. If our budget doesn't stretch to a new tache for Sam then we really are in the crap.
Iceman Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Its sometimes a good thing to lose a game in pre season. It allows Sam to assess what he still needs to do, and which areas need to be worked on. I thought Vieri was due to play in this tournament. Where is Van Heerden?

It's the little things like this that can make or break a season. As Bob said, Tache and striker both needed, but I think someone needs to pop to the offy and get him a box of wrigleys

Might be able to prop up the striker fund. They'll probably only do it if he grows the tache though....
Amo Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Bob certainly has a point. If Sam isn't up to the job of growing back his tache, I think we should look at Souey as his successor. He'll be man enough to grow it back.
