rovers1995 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Jason Brown upfront because Treacy is injured. Is Jason Brown the shock new striker signing
AggyBlue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Jason Brown has just come up front for us I'm wasting my time here.
Ossydave Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Just seen the 3rd goal on SSN. Benni Mac(Number 22) looks erm, how to put this........chunky? Benni did ok for the 4th to be fair.
champions1995 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Brilliant play from McCarthy and a well worked team goal. I can't believe Jason Brown's up front!
Backroom Tom Posted July 14, 2009 Backroom Posted July 14, 2009 Sounds like Gally missed a sitter, hopefully thats his chance gone and he'll be off
unleaded Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Treacy`s injured.......Surprise Surprise.......New season...............Same Old Story...........
Backroom Tom Posted July 14, 2009 Backroom Posted July 14, 2009 Job done 45 minutes run out for the lads. Hopefully Elrio and Hoilett can get some playing time soon
1864roverite Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 It wsnt benni who was chunky that was Jason Brown, he is as wide as the back end of a bus
modes98 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Requesting or Posting streams is against board rules, even in pre-season.
Raundsblue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Just got back, live 35 mins away. Very easy for Rovers 2 different teams in each half, but a good work out. Nzonzi looks as though he might be a player very athletic with a good touch, reminds me a little of Viera. 150 Rovers fans there not 15 in a crowd of 1800.

Said he was playing well on the snippets on SSN.
Raundsblue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Judge was also very good as was Warnock and Dunny was getting into to towards the end. Jacobsen also looked ok. But as I say Nzonzi looked very impressive.
Kelbo Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Judge was also very good as was Warnock and Dunny was getting into to towards the end. Jacobsen also looked ok. But as I say Nzonzi looked very impressive. What position did Nzonzi play??
Sparky Marky Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Sounds like Gally missed a sitter, hopefully thats his chance gone and he'll be off Oh yeah, cos he's missed a sitter against cambridge in the 1st pre-season game, thats it, we should get rid again eh? Do me a favour mate....I think gally's worth a punt in a number 10 role....
Muddboy Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 What position did Nzonzi play?? He played on the right of centre mid – alongside Dunn. Have to say he looked very good. Very athletic, great touch, can pick out a pass and excellent in the air. A promising start for him and certainly didn't look out of place. A good as the other midfielders out there tonight. It was also good to see Dunn in action and looking fit and strong. Almost scored with a bicycle kick! Overall, an entertaining game.
Helmshore blue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 just saw the highlights, goals were okay. Also saw the interview before the game with Sam, he was talking about wanting beckham, but didnt feel he would get him. Dont know if anyone saw the interview. Sorry if its already been mentioned
Drunx2002 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 By some miracle, I caught the free kick on video.
Presty On Tour Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 By some miracle, I caught the free kick on video. Nice work man, thank you. I'm glad Judge done well, I think he might break through this year.
Muddboy Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Nice work man, thank you. I'm glad Judge done well, I think he might break through this year. I thought Judge was average tonight. Lots of running and effort but pretty ineffective to be honest. I don't think any of his crosses actually found a Rovers man.
