Terry Ibbotson who was on the Rovers board during the 80's and 90's died this week.

He always seemed nice guy to me, very quiet and personable.

Some may also know him for the local cricket scene.

He was 76.

I knew Terry when I was a young Solicitor working in Blackburn. He was indeed highly respected and someone I always looked up to as a true professional. He will be sadly missed, both as a Rovers fan and a local cricket fan. My sincere condolences to his family.

Mr Ibbotson was a well known name on the Blackburn legal scene, although I didn't know him personally.

It's a shame that he has passed.
