I dont know where this should go but the city of Mexico City has said that Paraguayan international Salvador Cabanas has been shot in the head after a bar fight in the country. He is said to be in critical condition.

Nah they'll be fine, they've got a genuinely wealthy owner in charge, not a fraud or someone borrowing all their money from elsewhere.

I would hope that we acted with a bit more class than that to be honest. It's only a game, and there is no point in destroying peoples jobs and careers to save a bit of money in the transfer market. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.

They lived beyond their means and are paying the price for it. They offered stupid contracts and paid stupid fees. They deserve everything they get.

If you want a player though before the end of the transfer window then you might have to spend and let them have a little. However, it may only be a game but they haven't played it according to the rules and therefore the club deserve everything they get.

Pompey are the anti-thesis of the well-run club that Rovers try to be. We are being prudent and having to cut our cloth accordingly. Why should a club who have so far overstretched be bailed out?
