roversnick Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Seriously whats with Spurs and selling players then resigning them for more money? Defoe, Chimbonda, and Kaboul just to name 3. dodgy saggy chops 'arry
philipl Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Burnley need to find some inspiration from somewhere. They haven't won a point or even scored a goal in 2010 so far and this could be their 12th game without a Premier League win. ...according to the BBC.
cletus Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 about John Terry....Along with his two Premier League medals, Terry also won the 2008 Dad of the Year award after a survey carried out by Daddies Sauce. Looks like he`s been giving Bridge`s girl plenty of Daddies Sauce too! An amusing chant from the retards when Terry got booked in the 1st half "Same old Terry, always cheating" lol
Stuart Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 As much as I hate to say it, cracking control and finish from Steven Fletcher - dare I say Bergkamp-esque? If Rooney had done that it'd be talked about for weeks.
Bobby G Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Fletcher is a good player. Bargain signing for the dingles at under 3 million pounds.
Backroom Tom Posted January 30, 2010 Backroom Posted January 30, 2010 Damn, come on Chelsea you can beat this shower
Bobby G Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 West Ham say they will sign a Brazilian striker on Monday. Hmm...Who could it be? Also, with mystery man, Diamanti, Franco, Cole, & Nouble all there, how much guaranteed football will Benni have there?
mickbrown Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 West Ham say they will sign a Brazilian striker on Monday. Hmm...Who could it be? Also, with mystery man, Diamanti, Franco, Cole, & Nouble all there, how much guaranteed football will Benni have there? Benni will start most of the games with Cole. Nouble is a kid, Diamanti is a midfielder and Franco is injured. My money is on the brazillian never happening.
47er Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anyone see parallels between Fulham's season and our first under Woy? Take the Premier League by storm for the first half and crash like a stone in the second?
Hughesy Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anyone see parallels between Fulham's season and our first under Woy? Take the Premier League by storm for the first half and crash like a stone in the second? I think they were just running off confidence and getting unexpected results that way....the bubble has burst and they are now finding their level
Backroom Tom Posted January 30, 2010 Backroom Posted January 30, 2010 Just seen Fletchers goal, it was decent but to compare it to the great Bergkamps is madness, Fletcher got a big slice of luck and a lucky ricochet Nice first touch and finish though
islander200 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anyone see parallels between Fulham's season and our first under Woy? Take the Premier League by storm for the first half and crash like a stone in the second? They have had a lot of players out injured.Woy has done a terrific job.Fulham are a good side and dont spend millions
tony gale's mic Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 They have had a lot of players out injured.Woy has done a terrific job.Fulham are a good side and dont spend millions And yet we're in similar positions in the table with a large section of our fans still very much anti-Sam.
philipl Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Pompey's great clear out will not save them. Funny how Storrie is back talking about them! But this shows the situation is even worse! The new owners have put in all of.... £4m in loans. That £6m figure for Kaboul is almost certainly wrong by the way, £7m for Kaboul and Begovic was probably right so is Begovic only worth £1m???
Bobby G Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Kaboul at 6 million makes sense as opposed to what people were saying was 10-11 million yesterday.
thenodrog Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 As much as I hate to say it, cracking control and finish from Steven Fletcher - dare I say Bergkamp-esque? If Rooney had done that it'd be talked about for weeks. And if a Rovers striker had done it a free kick would have been awarded against him for hand ball! Crikey... I'm starting to sound like Sam! My money is on the brazillian never happening. Never mind you might get a californian then.
Stuart Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 And if a Rovers striker had done it a free kick would have been awarded against him for hand ball! Only if it was a home match... Never mind you might get a californian then. That's very good... for you!
USABlue Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Nice first touch and finish though First touch? The one with the arm? And yet we're in similar positions in the table with a large section of our fans still very much anti-Sam. To be fair to Woy at least Fulham are decent to watch, I always enjoy their games. Dempsey missing is a huge loss for them And if a Rovers striker had done it a free kick would have been awarded against him for hand ball! Probably get sent off too.
brfcshabba Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Watching Man City v Pompey. City have just scored with their first real attempt - possible offside. Pompey have hit the bar 2-0 Kompany header
Miker Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Portsmouth showing that trying to play football against Man City at home will see you get beat soundly (surely going to be more than 2-0 by the end).
Bobby G Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Vermaelen back for Arsenal. No Sol in the squad and no Vidic or Ferdinand. The former had been fit for the bench during their Carling Cup game. Interesting lineups.
DeadlyDirk Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Not sure if it will go down as Nani's goal, but a great bit of skill too put Manure 1-0 up, about time he did something I guess. Great stuff from Rooney and co to make it 2-0 as I type.
