tcj_jones Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 We could sign Joe Cole. Who else has a Joe Cole shaped hole? Who's actually bid for him? List them. You wouldn't necessarily need a vacancy when a player of his calibre becomes available on a free - you'd make room. In any case, he could easily be employed in a squad rotation system. EDIT: nice

Ozz Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Who else has a Joe Cole shaped hole? Mrs Cole. Either of them.
Hughesy Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Mrs Cole. Either of them. Who, Cheryl?! Seems like a Chelsea theme this.....
Backroom DE. Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 Benni Mac starting for West Ham tonight... going to be an interesting match. Wouldn't be surprised if Wolves took a point from this.
Backroom Tom Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 Whats the best result for Burnley tonight? I suppose a draw is best for them but it still leaves them at least 2 games away from overtaking either of them
Exiled_Rover Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I must be weird - I wouldn't mind Burnley staying up. At least there's some sort of rivalry there. I don't give a toss about Wigan or Bolton and I hate West Ham.
gumboots Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I must be weird - I wouldn't mind Burnley staying up. At least there's some sort of rivalry there. I don't give a toss about Wigan or Bolton and I hate West Ham. I'm with you on this - especially hating West Ham. They've cheated relegation in the past and I reckon it's really time for them to get their come uppance.
Backroom DE. Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 1-0 Wolves. Terrible mistake by a WHU defender. West Ham have been misplacing passes all over the pitch tonight.
jim mk2 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Never mind Burnley going down, I would love, absolutely love it, if West Ham were relegated. Cannot stand any of the cockney muck shovellers.
BuckyRover Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Last season, I really wanted Newcastle to go down. I hope that can be repeated with the demise of West Ham.
1864roverite Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I dont think anyone should underestimate just how damaging a Wolves win does for Burnley's survival !!! If they hold on to this goal lead then Burnely have no options but to go for the attack in games leaving their fragile defence wide open. BTW Just how fat has benny Mac gotten down s''''aaaarf ?
Backroom DE. Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 Benni's been totally anonymous thus far.
Exiled_Rover Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Benni's been totally anonymous thus far. He had one nice pass to Cole, otherwise he might as well not be on the pitch. It's looking more and more like Pompey, Hull and Burnley are the three going down, especially if Wolves win this.
Backroom DE. Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 West Ham are very, very lucky that Hull and Burnley are so bad, and that Portsmouth have had so many troubles this year. Can you imagine the reaction on here if we'd had a half like that against Wolves at home? People would be frothing at their virtual mouths. The West Ham players have been strolling about the pitch for most of the half like they could not care less.
Exiled_Rover Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 They've got a four point gap to Burnley. That's huge at this point in the season, sadly.
tcj_jones Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 IMO If Wolves win this, the the fight for relegation will come down to Hull, Burnley and West Ham, and I see the latter as most likely to escape it. I'd much rather Burnley stay up - it's been great finally having a good local rivalry.
Backroom DE. Posted March 23, 2010 Backroom Posted March 23, 2010 2-0 Wolves West Ham are shocking. This is one of the worst home performances I've seen from a premier league side. Great strike by Zubar, though.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 2-0 Wolves, great strike. I really fear that West Ham could be The Dingle's salvation.
tcj_jones Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 3-0 Oh my... Maybe there is hope for Burnley and Hull yet! Bloody hell, the fans are leaving in their hundreds!
Exiled_Rover Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Three quality goals. Oh how badly I want West Ham to go down.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 3-0 all over . Another cracking goal though. Cockneys not happy, "Youre not fit to wear the shirt"
