As long as a team has a valid reason for there weakened side (games build up, injuries, other interests) then they should be free to play whom they want. The big teams have been resting players for years and thats why they are able to challenge for 3 trophies almost every year

I'm surprised we haven't been fined for fielding Keith week-in, week-out... ;)

We should be....I dont think most clubs allow their cleaner anywhere near the pitch :blink:

Its a disgrace the way West Ham are acting. A team like Chelsea or Barcelona,could field any of their squad and it would not be deemed a weaker team. Its an insult to the rest of the players, that they are said to be weak. Its also, non of the other teams business who the manager picks or drops. You have nothing to play for, you are safe from relegation, with 5 games to go, you have the right to select the other members of the squad. As discussed a while back, West Ham got themselves in this position, no need to look for silly things like teams fielding weaker teams. Fact of the matter is, they are screwed and looking for a way out. They were lucky not to have been relegated before, so screw them and i hope they go down!

It is the business of other clubs and will stay that way until the rules are changed.

Absolutely shambolic, they've just showed people leaving already and can't say I blame them at all. I'd feel slightly sorry for them but it couldn't happen to a nicer team :rover:
