Tony Diamond Inc Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Will this be the Premier league record for goals scored, and the highest scoring away win?

Exiled_Rover Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I'd still give Eagles a look. This is very amusing though. Cheered me up no end after our result. Though to be fair I was pretty cheery already, what with Wigan winning at Knowsley Road.
Ossydave Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I'd still give Eagles a look. Why? The guy is an absolute prick and not helpful at all to the Burnley cause, not that it bothers us like.
LeChuck Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 They've only scored five because we softened them up last week, so credit has to go to Allardyce for Burnley's hammering today.
Seggie Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 They've only scored five because we softened them up last week, so credit has to go to Allardyce for Burnley's hammering today. Hahaha This is beautiful lol Puts our result into context doesnt it
den Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I'd still give Eagles a look. Not good enough to be a regular in the Prem ER.
philipl Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 Turf Moor looks like a puddle- will this game finish?
DanLad Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Burnley fans, why do they never sound happier than when they are getting thumped? They really love the misery!
Hughesy Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Carlsberg dont do stuffings, but if they did, there would be no matching Burnley!
Seggie Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I dont think it will last especially if it rains heavilly again. Commentators complaining the stadium is leaking
Stuart Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 How many minutes does the game have to go on for so the result stands?
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2010 Backroom Posted April 3, 2010 Is it eighty minutes? Surely common sense would prevail though
Blue n White Rover Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Roque is now on for City. Would be the icing on the cake if he was to bag a goal
1864roverite Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Clarrotts mad in meltdown such is the outrage at the latest dingle capitulation.
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2010 Backroom Posted April 3, 2010 I like Arsenal but the victim complex of their players is grating now, it seems to be a new rule that becuase they have had bad injuries you aren't allowed to tackle them. The reaction of their players today got Henry sent off, no way he would have gone against most teams.

The reaction of their players today got Henry sent off, no way he would have gone against most teams. Just as Wenger hoped.
Stuart Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Aaron Ramsey: Shawcross wanted to take me out. From that article: "If I was tackling and saw that there was not a chance of getting to the ball cleanly, I would not make the tackle – and I don’t think there was a chance of him getting there" Hmm. What's the first thing you get taught about what happens if you don't go into a tackle fully committed...?
thenodrog Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Correct. He's trying to be holier than thou, Billy big time but is coming across as a right mard arse.
Exiled_Rover Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Aaron Ramsey: Shawcross wanted to take me out. Well there goes any sympathy I had for you, Aaron.
den Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 There is this apparent belief encompassing everyone/everything at the Emirates, that the only physical games played in the Premier League, are when Arsenal are involved. Football is a physical game, always has been and hopefully, always will be. Arsenal over the years have been as physical as any other team - it's just that Wenger now wants his sides to play a kind of football that is based solely on technique. Unfortunately, one dimensional teams can be upset more readily than teams such as Chelsea, who can mix things up when needed. Wengers only current answer to the physical game, is to put pressure on the referee by means of player overreaction, and use of the media. Yesterday's referee fell for it as well.
Iceman Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Spurs getting hammered, certainly made my weekend. i hate that lot, and with Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Man City to come for them, its bye bye Champions league.

Dead right Den, They'd like it if tackling was banned. After that heading would be next on their list because Bendtner apart they're crap at as well.
