67splitscreen Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Just when nobenders thought things couldnt get any worse... PNE in the mire... Not good news, things go from bad to worse, a disastrous season on the pitch, and now this. The donkey lashers will be loving this, even if they miss out on the Prem, will make them smile.
ffan Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Again, thanks for all the lovely comments lads. Honestly though, I am feeling so empty at the moment. How often does the chance of winning a European final present itself? But we couldn't take our chance... The trip was absolutely fantastic but the airport on the way back was chaos. I've never felt as deflated as I do now in all my years of supporting Fulham. So near, so very near to glory. Anyway sorry for rambling. Cheers, ffan.
bennyboyt11 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Maybe next year Ffan (At least I gather both finalists are automatically qualified into 10/11 Europa League, the rules are very hard to digest so I may be wrong here)
Backroom Tom Posted May 15, 2010 Backroom Posted May 15, 2010 Unbelievable Chelsea have hit the woodwork 5 times without scoring. Mokoena has put in some superb blocks though, hendry style
Backroom Tom Posted May 15, 2010 Backroom Posted May 15, 2010 Awful awful penalty by Boetang there after another good run by Dindane
Majiball Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 1-0 to Chelsea. What a crap penalty by Boateng. IMO, it was one of the best I've ever seen.
brian_gallagher85 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 1-0 to Chelsea. crap That's you're game review for the papers tomorrow Journo's
RIML Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 That's you're your game review for the papers tomorrow Journo's Fixed
bennyboyt11 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 And with that goes the last glimmer of hope for Portsmouth, gone down to languish in the lower leagues.
Barney Blue Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Swansea City player Besian Idrizaj has died in his sleep aged 22 - He was on our books for a brief time. Incredibly tragic to die at such a young age. LINK
Tim Southampton Rover Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Awful news. It's a shame when former footballers die but when it's someone so young with their future ahead of them then it seems even worse. RIP
Hughesy Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Here one we should take an interest in.... West Ham are set to snap up Lyon winger Sydney Govou on a free transfer. Full story: The Sun
Kelbo Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Here one we should take an interest in.... West Ham are set to snap up Lyon winger Sydney Govou on a free transfer. Full story: The Sun Interesting this one, no manager and buying players the next man may not want!!!!
67splitscreen Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Interesting this one, no manager and buying players the next man may not want!!!! Compo to boot (maybe) Noone will ever get 100% selection of the playing staff while those two are around.
Jackson Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Here one we should take an interest in.... West Ham are set to snap up Lyon winger Sydney Govou on a free transfer. Full story: The Sun A winger? What's that?
Exiled_Rover Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Are you reading Steven Reid?! Idiot. To clarify - the footballer is an idiot. Injuries are part and parcel of the game.
XLM Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Idiot. To clarify - the footballer is an idiot. Injuries are part and parcel of the game. Someone has an ounce of decency and is called an idiot. What is the world coming to.
Steve Moss Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Idiot. To clarify - the footballer is an idiot. Injuries are part and parcel of the game. I am actually impressed with Oguchi Onyewu. He wants to work for his wage and give the club what they bargained for, playing time. I think he should be commended for both his loyalty and good old fashioned work ethic.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 If only we had more "idiots" in the world. Maybe it would be a better place!
CrazyIvan Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I'm watching the Charlton - Swindon game and there are at least three ex-Rovers on show. Two for Swindon, Douglas and Greer, and Christian Dailly for Charlton. Anybody see anyone else out there who is an ex-Rover?
