Exiled_Rover
Adebayor is the only surprise. Nah, he's not a team player. He only plays when he wants to. If the manager wasn't the one to bring him in you can understand him wanting to move him on.

Roberto Policano
If they change as many players as you suggest it will take at least half a season for them to all gel and i think they will struggle again unless they bring in a quality striker and at least 1 decent centre half. Every Manager, coach, scout etc dismisses that with top players. These are top players City are signing, not pub players. Pre season will be long enough for Mancini. Commondore
Only every week or so but other than that never. I have family who are st holders as well and it is a view shared by many and they think they have made the sale of the century getting £24m for him. I can agree with £24 mill being too much, but I just can't see how anyone would rate him as tripe. One of the best all action midfielders in the world, and for me certainly better than the static Sergio B.
Majiball
Richards,Robinho,Garrido,Ireland,Wright-Phillips,Valeri Bojinov,Santa Cruz,Jo,Adebayor,Caicedo and Bellamy will all leave Manchester City before September 1st if Roberto gets his way. Micheal Johnson is not there??? I'd be happy with any one of them joining us. Adebayor is the only surprise. Not really, Wenger shifted him on quite quickly, good player, just perhaps not right mentally. Mario Balotelli will be swapped for Robinho i would have thought late August. Moratti has asked for Tevez in the swap, but not surprising, City not having any of it. I'd love to see Balotelli in the premiership, can't wait to see him pictured in a United shirt after he signs for City. If Robinho moves to Inter, I give him less than six months before he's throwing his toys out of the pram again. How is he going to cope with Beneteiz's stand off, not chat to the players type of man management. If City shift on all these players, I'd wager Cassell is going to be ###### at some of his darlings being shown the door. If they do get the likes of Koralev, Dzeko, Balotelli, Milner on top of already signing Silva, Toure & Boateng they will most certainly make the top 4. ---------------Given--------------- Zabeleta---Toure---Boateng--Koralev -------Milner--Toure--Silva-------- -----Balotelli--Dzeko--Tevez------- There's goals in there hills. Manchester Blue
I can agree with £24 mill being too much, but I just can't see how anyone would rate him as tripe. One of the best all action midfielders in the world, and for me certainly better than the static Sergio B. Ok I'm exaggerating when i say tripe but he isn't world class for me, as usual Citeh have identified all the top players in his position, been turned down by them all so have gone for the next level and paid way over the odds for him. He is all action but he doesn't have the touch or technique to avoid looking out of place at a top team for me. Oh and majiball if you think Mancini will play a midfield with Silva and Milner in then you are dreaming. He is far, far too negative to entertain that prospect. De Jong and Barry alongside Toure is far more likely i'd expect.
jodrell
Looks like the Lashers are going the Dingle way pay wise. According to the People. Blackpool’s promotion-winning stars will find out what they will be paid in the big time – by letter. Half of Ian Holloway’s team have clauses in their contracts that are up for review and the club has not spoken to any of them or their agents since they went up. Now staff will be sent a letter informing them of their pay rises – with most braced for an unpleasant surprise. Blackpool do not intend to pay any new players over £10,000-a-week
Majiball
Bloody hell Toure is on a fortune It was only an example of how I think they could potentially line-up. I don't think Mancini is that negative and we'll see much more about how he intends to play in the premier league once he has his own players in and is not making do with what he has. Roberto, is there any truth in the Ronaldinho to Spurs rumor?

philipl
Yes, I saw that picture of the idiot Cook posing with Yaya and wondered how much that had cost. The answer is £220k a week. The lunatic is truly in charge of the asylum.

Get promoted, take the money and try to get promoted again in a couple of years time. A lot of lower to mid table PL clubs have had to yo-yo first. Toure is a good player but not a great one, last season he was a squad player at Barcelona, bet they can't believe that City have come in and bought him for £28 million and to pay him circa £220,000 a week is lunacy. jodrell
FFan I am not convinced with Sven. One of the lads who sit’s with us his dad had contacts at city when Sven was there and said he was clueless. That he comes with a lot of backroom staff and on big money and they do all the work. I hope you get the right man.
Roberto Policano
Bloody hell Toure is on a fortune Roberto, is there any truth in the Ronaldinho to Spurs rumor? Very much doubt it,Tottenham seem to be like Fiorentina, they get linked to 10 different players a week once the transfer window is open. Surely the News Of The World cannot be taken seriously?. Tyrone Shoelaces
I'd give Sven a miss if I were you ffan. Hughes is the guy you need. Nothing fancy but a safe pair of hands. Until the next big job comes along that is !
