Does anyone know if Rafik Halliche is any good?

Knowing Hughes he'll either be worth £15 million in a years time or cost you lot that and be worth nothing by next season. :rover:

Hughes' track record on signings at Rovers was as close to perfection as they come. Take Rigters out of the equation (sub £1m but big wage) then all his signings worked if you discount some of them suffering serious injury after joining the club.

I would say it would be nearly impossible for anyone to replicate Sparky's work in the transfer market, it was remarkable (Bellamy, Warnock, Samba, Nelsen etc).

All quality players who we sold on for decent money (could have sold Nelsen at one point too).

His best day of business had to be end of Jan 2006 - in one day we signed Pongolle, Olsson & Bentley (Permanent)

SSN Reporting Holloway no longer manager of Blackpool. Not sure if it's true though.

I really hope that isn't true. I am really looking forward to him appearing in interviews on TV this coming season...

It does seem ridiculous that Blackpool haven't signed anyone yet.

That's obviously not going to be Holloway's choice. If the board are just happy to take the PL money and go back down without a fight then Holloway is left with no option really.
