alexanders
I'm pretty sure we lost all or most preseason games in 94/95 and won all or most of our preseason games in the season we got relegated. So far we have a win, draw, draw, loss. Midtable? I was thinking about the teams. Nantwich? St Pauli? Pompey in big trouble ! What odds to them going down? Ricky
Thats not a bad bet at all. If anything goes wrong with the takeover they're screwed. If the takeover goes ahead there isn't going to be any money for big signings so they're screwed again!!

FourLaneBlue
Yet they seem very willing to shift Crouch. Strange move seeing as they have just about lost all their quality players in the last year. Although they did of course bring in Mokoena...

Hughesy
Pompey need to invest quickly. They have lost Pennant, Johnson, Davis, Traore & soon to be Crouch. Aswell as not so long ago losing Diarra & Defoe They also have a number of players out of contract - Campbell, Kanu etc.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade
They'll be fine, they've signed midfield colossus and goal-machine Aaron Mokoena.
modes98
I agree, if anyone from pompey is reading then don't buy anyone. You will be fine with the players you've got, but make sure you sell Crouch and don't replace him

Backroom Tom Posted July 21, 2009 Backroom Share Posted July 21, 2009 Eduardo has to get back to his best and Vela has to step up a level. Both could happen for me and to be honest I hope they do, I like Arsenal and the way they try to play, however the moaning I could do without.
