cn174 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Sounds like you had a good adventure. I won't be going next week but will be for the group stages presuming we get there. Make sure that you get all the wednesday/thursday/fridays of the games provisionally booked in your diary! European trips are ace and probably more special for the likes of us and Fulham as they don't happen all that often.

Ricky Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Amen to that Sister lol. Ffan, seriously just start getting ready to spend most of your time searching for cheap flights and deals. Skyscanner is your friend!! We came to the conclusion that Lithuanian woman must be seperated at birth, with the ugly ones locked in a big building somewhere. All the ones we saw were stunning. The food is interesting, always rememebr the look on Jordans face when he sampled the delights of pigs ears with cheese.... nice!!!!
alexanders Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Zlatan signed for Barcelona? Eto'o speaking with Internazionale.
Hughesy Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Sam Rickets going to Bolton from Hull, not to Pompey.
Boz Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Stevie G acquitted!! I am truly shocked, he must have the same defense team as Doddy!
adjam82 Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Stevie G acquitted!! I am truly shocked, he must have the same defense team as Doddy! I though he would get an easy 100 hours of community service. Was the Judge a Liverpool fan?
Boz Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 The judge hasn't commented yet, just twelve good men and true who found him not guilty. Obviously not easy finding twelve in Merseyside!
adjam82 Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 The judge hasn't commented yet, just twelve good men and true who found him not guilty. Obviously not easy finding twelve in Merseyside! Benitez, Alonso, Reina, Arbeloa, Skrtal, Carragher, Aurelio, Benayoun, Alonso, Kuyt, Babel, Torres
Hughesy Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Is the world going mad, or is just Stoke getting desperate? SSN - 15.16 Stoke have signed midfielder Dean Whitehead from Premier League rivals Sunderland for an initial fee of £3million, which could rise to £5million.
TheNews Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Would seem Fabian Delph and his dad were in the Royal Box at Wembley tonight as guess of spuds So guess that means his probably going there
Hughesy Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Bruce has confirmed the signed of Cana for £5m, good business that one.
philipl Posted July 25, 2009 Author Posted July 25, 2009 Interview with City's Gary Cook in the Independent. Bit of a revelation about Dickov!
Stuart Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Interview with City's Gary Cook in the Independent. Bit of a revelation about Dickov! Sounds like City are now going on the charm offensive. Well I'm not fooled!
adbo99 Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 zat knight and sam ricketts to bolton............ villa are trying to rekindle the spirit of '82 by winning the title with 14 players
Billy Castell Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Is it just me or is Zat Knight a bit crap? I'd pick Zurab over him.
tcj_jones Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 With Laursen having retired, I'm shocked that Villa have let Knight go. They still need a replacement for Barry and now two new CBs, alongside any other additions they had in mind. Unless O'Neill works some magic, I can see them dropping out of the top six.
tcj_jones Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hughes looking away from Terry and Lescott I've got a horrible feeling that he's gonna come in for Samba as his top targets get rejected. Outside the top five, he's got to be one of, if not the best CB in the league.
HemelRover Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 BBC reports Spurs bid for Crouch accepted. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...uth/8169170.stm Fee in the region of £10mil.
imy9 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I am confused Pompey have been bought by a billionaire so why are they selling all of their players? Pompey are my tip to be relegated.
Amo Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I am confused Pompey have been bought by a billionaire so why are they selling all of their players? Because they probably still owe a whole pot of money. Why else would they keep Paul Hart and try to sign the likes of Eugene Bopp?

alexanders Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 10.55 Paul Hart has confirmed Portsmouth have accepted an offer from Tottenham Hotspur for striker Peter Crouch. 10.30 Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has revealed he is doing his 'utmost' to try to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent. Things are happening. 9.01 According to reports in the News of the World, Arsenal are ready to make a £7million for Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou. Hope this doesn't affect the Di Santo loan.
T4E Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Sorry if this has been cleared up already, but why was Samba not in the squad that versed Leeds yesterday? Back twinge apparently.
