rovers1995 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 It's a Hull City fan f'in about. He did Luke Young first and The Telegraph fell for it! haha. Here's one he's done you might like http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/ProfilesDe...8~11754,00.html I know it's someone messing about, just shows how easy they are to hack into. I like Keith Andrews anyway, so I don't like that one

RibbleValleyRover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Just heard a rumour from the bluemoon forum that a Premier League manager has just resigned, don't know if it's true or not. but if it is, my money's on Moyes My money would be on Moyes or Hart. Moyes because the Everton chairman accepted a bid for Lescott? After his rant the other week about being the one who makes decisions on who to sell or not if the chairman took the decision i could see Moyes walk. Hart because of the takeover and them wanting their own man in?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 The rumour was mentioned on the radio as well. If Everton have gone above Moyes' head and are selling Lescott then it will def be Moyes who would have walked. I hope not though as he's a great manager and should be backed 100% by Everton.
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 yup just heard this on talk sport, hope its not Hart yet as pompey look like they will struggle with him at the helm
rovers1995 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Let's go through the clubs. Arsenal - Not a chance Aston Villa - Maybe, not getting players in, fans getting on his back Birmingham - Can't see McLeish walking this season Blackburn - Not a chance, Sam has his man in now (Salgado) Bolton - Maybe, fans on his back but just got Davies and Taylor to sign new long term deals Burnley - Owen Coyle won't walk away Chelsea - Not a chance Everton - Possibly, board will sell Lescott over his head Fulham - Not a chance Hull - Maybe, players turning him down Liverpool - Not getting money to spend Man City - Not a chance Man Utd - Not a chance Portsmouth - Hart may walk as they have no money, no players, no chance of staying up Stoke - Not a chance Sunderland - Not a chance Tottenham - Not a chance West Ham - Maybe, reportingly have to sell players Wigan - Not a chance Wolves - Not a chance My guess is the teams in Red.
Hughesy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Lots of rumours around that it is Benitez and that he has walked.................
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I can't see it being Hart because of those reasons. He was in the local Portsmouth paper (thenews) talking about how he's the man to lead the club through the tough financial period because he's been there before on restricted money at Nottingham Forest. The only way he'd leave is if he was sacked but even that would be a long shot because the new chairman wanted Hart to continue in charge. If the rumour is true, it's got to be Lescott / Moyes situation. Can't see why any other manager would suddenly walk out.
RovertheHill Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 My guess is Zola - but I'd p*ss myself laughing if it's Benitez...
only2garners Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Lescott has been dropped from tomorrow night's Europa Cup game, which suggests it isn't Moyes.
Presty On Tour Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 link First there was Kaka, now this! Looks like Stephen Ireland too.
dudedog Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Lescott has been dropped from tomorrow night's Europa Cup game, which suggests it isn't Moyes. unless he has been sold over moyes' head??
Guest Kamy100 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Remember this from Talk Sport so it is highly likely that it is utter rubbish, news not being reported by any other website.
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Talkshite- Paddy Power suspended betting on Benitez being sacked!
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 SSN yellow ticker reporting a consortium led by Storrie is in talks to buy Pompey. Maybe it is Hart that's walked surely the window will be closed before that deal could go through.
only2garners Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Peter Storrie has announced that he hopes to put together a consortium to buy Portsmouth - the saga continues......
philipl Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 I think it is more likely to be West Ham. The warning signs are there- at the weekend there was a report that Strangur ae so short of cash, they are going to have to start selling Wham players from under Zola. Yesterday Brooking came out with a plea for support for Zola and it does seem that some sort of bid for Upson has come in from Villa- both City and Spurs are watching this one with interest. Paul Hart knew exactly what he is dealing with at Pompey and where o earth is he going if he walks out? By all accounts, Moyes has dropped Lescott and he would get a big chunk of the cash if Lescott goes. He has bid for Bentley and Hutton, albeit with Liverpool Corporation bus tickets.
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Was Hart not brought in as caretaker only , Colchester are looking for a Manager.
mark1875 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 reading lfc forums http://www.liverpoolfc-newkit.co.uk/cgi-bi...1;t=26798;st=20 its mentioned that he may have walked because they have accepted an offer for torres from chelsea that has to be a joke? lol
philipl Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 If Rafa had gone, it would have been all over the media two hours after the story first broke. Pompey MBO by Storrie in prospect. Presumably they will have enough cash to avoid administration but having enough cash to do something meaningful in the transfer market by midnight 1 September might be a different matter.
DeadlyDirk Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Spuds are already 1-0 up against Hull, Defoe.
